YuiNES III - End of an Era

Sicily, Mosul, and Armenia only have raw incomes, no nets. There's a zero misplaced in Hamidoglu's income stats. Sicily's income also seems unnaturally high considering they're making 14,000 superflorins raw from only Sicily while Anjou makes 20,200 raw from Provence, Naples, and Hungary. Also it would be helpful if centralization/individual stats could be shown for each of my polity claims.

Yeah, it appears the Khanate of Tripolitania is missing some stats as well.

ND, that's actually because I intended for them to be an NPC and you are confirmed.

Ok everyone Rules Change

Houses get individual income and centralization stats for each of their provinces, yet due to the difficulties of ruling various far-flung domains their centralization stat has a third cut out, also impacting income.

This has resulted many houses income being scaled upwards, so check your stats.

Sorry, I was kinda not thinking too well when I was reading the stats and everything, and didn't exactly catch the NPC thing. If I seriously messed something up I could try and pick a different country.

Hey it's fine I fixed it

Well I think a "third" is a bit too much of a hard and fast rule - it might make for a good baseline in the interim, but further calculations later down the rule should reflect the House's attention or lack thereof to centralization.

To: His Majesty Phillip III the King of Castile, and his Holiness Pope Pius V

Centuries ago, the heretics struck first in Iberia. They overwhelmed the first Christian garrisons of Europe, and took for themselves their demonic foothold on our fair continent. And for centuries hence, it has been the bloody struggle of your people to free your land of these abominations in reconquest.

I too know the hardships of your struggle, for I have marched in the East against heretic and tended to my kingdom even as the insipid lies of the heretics threatens to corrupt my people and their curved sword threatens to rain down the blow of Satan.

Years ago the heretic Musselmen shamed my family and spilled Christian blood when they invaded and infested the Angevin possession of Tunisia. I feel the sorrow of the Christian souls trapped under the Musselmen's oppression everyday.

Today I ask you for help in vengeance, both yours and mine. March with us, King of Castilians, against the heretic Marinid and his empire. For as sacriligeous as it may be for me to proclaim, I believe our Father will agree: God wills it.

From The Caliphate of Marinid
To The Infedels of Tripolitania

The Caliph grows tired of the blasphemy of the Khan of Triopli. He demands that the Khan submit himself to the glorious mercy of the Caliph or face the greatest retribution of all time. Become a vassal of the Caliph and he shall spare your lands and make you rich.

You are also of course cordially invited to participate in our crusade, for freedom, plunder, and glory.

While it pains me to bow to one who has not seen the light, I agree to become the vassal of you, Caliph Nasir. May the Lord bless your lands and its people.

From: Khan Christian I of Tripolitania

I am sorry to bring such ill news to a fellow Christian, but I am in no position to raise my sword against the heathens at my border. I kneel only for the lives of the good Christians that serve me. Please, understand my situation. May the Lord bless your crusade.

You are amusing indeed. We will be very... understanding.

The Kingdom of Poland see its southern neighbor, full of riches and land beyond our simple understanding. We also fear that one day the Kingdom of Poland, in all its simple life, will be overrun by Hungarian forces. Is my peoples nightmares foretelling the future? Please, oh great King of Hungary, His Most Christian Majesty Charles IV of the Capetian House of Anjou, King of Sicily, King of Hungary, Prince of Moldovia, Prince of Wallachia, Count of Provence, etc., answer me.

To: Scotland-Norway

It was not so long ago that a daughter of Sweden married a son of Norway. Does the friendship between our two Kingdoms that this marriage entailed continue?

Peace, my friend. We have no quarrel with a forthright Christian king and his domain. Only the infidel should fear us. If you should seek our guidance to appear forthright before our eyes, join us in our quest for absolution and aid us in destroying the Musselmen heretics.

I speak for all of Poland when I say to you, His Most Christian Majesty Charles IV of the Capetian House of Anjou, King of Sicily, King of Hungary, Prince of Moldovia, Prince of Wallachia, Count of Provence, etc., thank you. Your act of kindness in the spirit of Christ and of peace between brothers speak much for your soul. Thank you.

I do however need to consult with my advisers and think upon if a war, even if the reasons are are sound and Catholic as yours are, would be good for Poland. Poland has little money, little troops. We are stretched thin trying to protect ourselves. A war in a foreign heretic land must be considered. While the Great Kingdom of Hungary can launch such a crusade shows the Christian Spirit of Hungary. Bless you and your people.

Thank you my Father; your kindness in granting a humble man such as myself a great title is the delight of my eyes. Unfortunately, we know that our crusade cannot succeed without the aid of our Christian brothers, particularly the strong king of Castile. We beseech that you remind the wandering sheep of your flock to return to the fold.

To: His Majesty Bolislav IV, King of Poland

We thank you for your consideration. Any knight that Poland could afford to send, whether by the will of her king or their own, would be greatly appreciated.
