1.3!

A long time ago the seeds of another civ were discussed in Orbis, including a certain leader who was leaner than all the others. Enquiring minds wish to know if this discussion is ever going to bear any fruit?

Possibly. Hasn't been discussed.

you'll have to remove kuriotates as well then. but seriously it's sad to see the kadhi go, I liked them.

Meh. The Kahdi were just the Sheaim mechanic given to the Amurites.

They remain (somewhat) as an Amurite unique event. That's it.

Also wondering if said civ is going to be the one with the mobile cities.

Nope.

Are you joking right?
Whats the princess rule?

The Sheaim aren't being removed.

I don't know what the "princess rule" is either though. Perhaps a joke about purple being a femanine color?

I've heard this "princess rule" mentioned quite a few times now as well. Someone care to explain? Otherwise I'll have to assume it's somehow related to the assassination of JFK.

He was joking about the Sheaim.

And as has been stated, the Princess Rule states that the mod should not include anything that can be found in a little girl's room.

you know what is often found in little girls rooms?

I would have liked a lot more to see the Kadhi overhauled with some unique stuff. I really liked the theme about Kadh being able to choose wether to get corrupted by mammoon or keep worshipping Oghma, that could have been a great theme to expand, a civ that plays really different depending on which side you choose :)

Yes, it's a good theme; But when the entire basis of a civ is flawed, no amount of overhaul will fix it.

The theme will feature somewhat into another new feature.

Then it is an entirely new civ. We have enough new civs coming as it is, I have zero desire to rework a fundamentally flawed civ, delaying other projects and the release of 1.3. ;)

As I said, the theme of alignment affecting play, rather than play affecting alignment, will come back in another form.

I can't say I was ever very compelled to use the Khadi which means I won't miss them too much but I also won't really know what I'm missing.

All this talk of new civs makes me want to revive my idea for a new civ. Let's see... which file do I need to edit again? Hmm, what's a python? You know what? Never mind.

Hammering out what to do with the last feature now, then 2-3 days of xml work to implement, and then just testing. So should be this weekend, though I'd say Sunday rather than Saturday.

Hmmmm still early sunday... Lets see if Valkrionn's leader traits are Patch Tease/ Dream Crusher or Personal Hero/ God among men.

Sadly, had to fix some bugs in a new feature (on the plus side: Said feature will allow you to chop features faster as you tech! As well as myriad other cool possibilities. :p), so I'm just now starting to rebalance the animals. Looking like I was right when I said it might be Wednesday. :(
