2012 NFL Offseason

I don't understand why AP is trying to rush back so fast when the Vikings are obviously going nowhere this season.

Some guys are just that way. Micheal Jordan was when he had a
major injury in his rookie(?) season. There was no point to him returning, but
he demanded to do so anyway.

Now, now. Tannehill would be given the reins strictly because they're desparate to show they got the pick right he impressed so much in camp.

Well... the good news is that we will get to see his wife more often :scan: :goodjob: .

Aaah, Bird was insanely lucky to have played in the era he did. It all evens out.

I think it's more like between him and Magic, the luck was made.

The Whitten spleen injury is sounding more scary now.

Magic would've been amazing in any era. Bird? Yeah, okay, he wiped out unathletic white forwards like Kent Benson and Kelly Tripucka, and as soon as the likes of Dennis Rodman came into the league he started fading very noticeably. Great instincts. Accurate as all hell. Yeah. But very, very lucky.

I know this might be Blasphemy but I'd take LeBron now over Bird in his prime.

Who do you guys think I should pick if I end up getting 1st pick in my fantasy draft?

BS... so were they all 'unathletic white forwards' in the league? No 'super-athletic black forwards'???

Comparing a defensive/rebounding wonder in his youth to an aging veteran is silly.

Does Jordan do so well if LeBron is covering him all game?

You take Magic, I would take Bird... seems to be basically a draw.

You take Magic, I take LeBron... WE WILL NEVER KNOW!

You take Jordan, I take LeBron... ???

IMO Bird would be amazing in any era too... but of course that would be my opinion. ;)

Why would that be blasphemy? LeBron is so clearly better than Bird ever was that only the biggest Boston homers/get off my lawn old farts would choose Bird in that comparison.

Rodgers.

Edit: Dang, shortguy beat me. :(

Ray Rice is one of my faves...he's always taken me deep into the postseason..

I'd take McCoy/Rice... RB is so shallow this year.

I feel like taking RBs first is a big risk. There's just so little consistency across seasons at the position.
