More Unique Components for Vox Populi

3rd and 4th Unique Components for VP - Official thread 88.10

Yes, and the musician born had around 5.4k iirc. Musician procs from v61 would grant faith without issues as well.

I tested an confirmed the bug.

Nothing has changed w.r.t. the faith boost; even the numbers the same. It looks like there is an issue with GetBlastTourism(). This was working in previous versions, so something in the newest DLL has broken this command. Need to post to Github.

Posting a new version. I broke Rome and Poland with my update, and need to revert some of those changes

Shall I download again from the link in 1st post or its still old one and should wait?

It's up to date now, download away, until I find something else to fix :p
I have got something for you; the Ethiopian Monolihic church on hills does not get the buffs from religion founding/enhancing/reformation like he ones on stone does.

On my side, while using the last MUCfVP version, I was givent this Khopesh by a city-state : it has the icon and the flag of the Mamluk, but the 3d models and unit caracteristics of the ancient Egyptian UM2.

Egyptian at the same time has the actual Mamluk UM in their kit. It just so happens that the Khopesh stayed as an unaffiliated UM in the mod's code.

That's because it is a table from vanilla civ 5

The yield works and breaks from version to version it seems. Could put it on github for now

Mamluk and Khopesh shared the same name for their atlas. Thanks for catching, will be fixed in new version

After a long break from Civ5 i came back to give the new VP another try, along with 3rd and 4th components. For the odd 2 years that i've played and updated VP, i've always made a DLC modpack out of it through the Multiplayer Mod Workaround method, so i can more easily reroll/start up games. But with the current version of 3rd and 4th (v62) i can't get Figgs to spawn through the Roman unique improvement. I can build it, yet no tile is claimed, nor is a resource spawned in. I am using v62 alongside the latest official VP of 12-1-3, i tried combining it with the 1-15 beta (latest), but this entirely breaks it causing missing loads on game startup and only showing the 2 unique units in civ selection screen. So i figured the 1-15 version is not compatible.

Using the 12-1-3 version though i can create modpack just fine, except with Rome the Figgs don't spawn in (everything else seems to work as far as i can tell). I initially had the v61 version, but saw there was a Rome/Poland fix in v62, so i downloaded that hoping that would fix my problem, but it's still present. Any ideas? I double checked to see if over time a .dll got added (for creating the modpacks) that i wasn't aware, but that doesn't appear to be the case. Any idea's how to fix this? Or do I need a different VP build?

I would revert your build to the dec1 version for now. This new beta seems to have a lot of instability. My Phoenicia mod has been rendered CTD unplayable in this new DLL as well.

There's a lot of holes to patch up with the newest VP version. I'm sorry to say that people are probably better off rolling back if stability and compatibility is a core concern. Hopefully the DLL guys like @Recursive and @ilteroi are already on the case. I know a lot of cleanup was done to reduce the size of the DLL in the latest version, but I don't know exactly what has been removed. It's possible some functioning parts of the game that this mod depends on were "cleaned".

Just commenting on my first 3/4 UC playthrough with the Celts. I think they're very well-rounded and the Oppidum is a solid feature. This ain't a big deal, but the text is wrong though because it says +1 :c5culture: to lumber mills and +1 :c5science: to logging camps, but it's actually the opposite. The only misleading issue I had was choosing the tenet that boosts UI / GP improvements by + 6 of their main yield ( I think "New Deal"), and foolishly thinking it would boost every yield on the Oppidum, when in reality it just gave them + :c5faith:.

Spoiler Looks right to me :

version incoming.
Changes how Alti Cur yield changes work
Fixes Mamluk/Khopesh bug

Playing with beta 1/9 version 4 and MUCfVP version 62 as Byzantium passing to Medieval I get very high religious unhappinessView attachment 581793
It used to be that from the unique national wonder, you would get Anarchy on era transition as a downside for how good it was. Now it is:
1 turn of +100% to all :c5angry: Needs on Empire and then 10 turns of :c5happy: WLTKD in the Empire on New Era if Player is not in Anarchy State.

Looks like religious unrest doesn’t like modifiers. I will delete it from the era event for next version

If you look at the screenshot you'll see that I get more than 2 billion of unhappiness and as I said it doesn't go in 1, 2, 3 turns

Alti cur? is that the monolithic church bug?
I noticed something rather strange, changing the base yields of the monolithic church(giving it more yields to compensate for the lack of buffs from religion in MonolithicChurch.sql line 71~75) actually reduced the overall yields ingame rather than increases them.

You forgot to end your line 78 with a semi-colon, so you killed your code. Nothing below line 65 loaded into the game

edit: the alti cur/Six-Horns Council is the Hunnic UNW
