3rd and 4th Unique Components for VP - Official thread 88.10

Just found out a strong feature of the Vur Ha promotion of the egyptian mameluke. If the unit does an attack that would make it lose all movement (such as across a river or with in ZOC), it will still get a movement point after the attack. This is extremely strong with blitz tanks.

pdan, the first post lists v83 as the current version, but clicking through to the download shows v84

I just wasted about an hour trying to solve a problem that v83 was having with 3.1.1, thinking that was still the latest version. all better now, but please protect the next doofus from suffering my fate.

This is the updated version of Enlightenment Era for VP compatibility file. For those who play with the mod.
Copy the SQL file into the !Compatibility folder.

First of all thank you for all your work on this amazing mod, just wondering, do you plan on keep updating this mod? I understand that in the past months changes where a little too back and forth to keep track of them, but now that implementation of changes and release of new versions are going to be more periodical and predictable due to the new VP Congress, do you have plans to keep working on and updating this mod?

I do intend to, but I must admit I have lost steam on modding, and am feeling quite burnt out.

Yeah maybe we can vote it into the next congress 🤷‍♂️ its definitely one of my fav mods as well.
 
It will never be included into VP. It's so big that it's hard to balance. PDan already stated this several times.
Let people have a choice to play with 4UC or not.

I don't think it will become dead. Once they get the # of World Congress sessions down, it should be easier for modmoders to adjust. I think it was PDan who said it was not possible to keep up the modmods with all the quick succession of changes happening to VP.
 
And I understand him. I won't update my VP without 4UC so I stay away from 3.x as far as I am concerned.
Pdan released a version that's compatible with version 3.0: it's 4UC v84.
Will be 4UC compatible with VP 3.2 or update needed?
VP3.2 seems to work with 4UC; it hasn't caused my 3.2 games to crash. I've only played a bit of one game with the new Rome though, so your mileage may vary.

As others have mentioned its not fully updated, though is playable on new VP versions. There are some minor issues with parity where some civs have lost bonuses on unique buildings because in recent updates buildings gained bonuses and the 4UC uniques have not (i.e. unintentional nerfs). Generally its not that big of a deal though. Still going to be using it for my games.
 
with the most recent update, Inca's Quilca spawns Coca only on Capital. Other cities are not getting Coca anymore
