3rd Annual CFC Chess Tourney!!

You really should, as my position is quite overwhelming. However, winning it might take a couple of months, and since your rating is way higher than mine...
Anyway, I look forward meeting you again. So far we have had three interesting games, and that is more important than the result.:)

 I'm pretty sure I'd lose that game had we continued. But it could be sometime next year at the rate we were going :crazyeye:

This is the game we're still waiting on. I'm resisting the urge to comment on it (which would technical be against chess.com's site rules & unsporting).

I would say that's good for another 42 days, at least....

Loki always seems to wait until the last day to make his move, doesn't he...

Interestingly, they both have an average per move over all their games of 4 hours or so.
So we are particularly honoured.

Having said that (probably quite unnecessarily, my apologies) I am generally quite busy at work, and find the move deadlines quite stressful. I remember our last 3 days per move tournament and I found that difficult. 14 days this year was a bit of a relief on that front, but perhaps 7 in the next one would be a nice compromise.

Yes. I feel I should apologize for being so slow.
I hope I will be able to pick up the tempo a bit in the forthcoming events.

Blast! I overlooked that one.
Ah, well...

Good luck to all! I personally will cherish this moment when I am not yet lost in any of my games. :D (Though Bobby Fischer might disagree in one of them...)

Edit: Heh, looks like Chess.com's tournament arranging-thing put all the undefeateds in the same group. :(

That should make for some interesting match-ups!

Heh, I drew col in one of the most boring games I remember playing in correspondence. Would've fallen asleep if not for the fact that it was a tournament game.

Probably had winning chances with 18. Qd2 but I chickened out and played 18. Rad1 instead. After that I couldn't come up with any coherent plan and settled for shuffling pieces around and prophylactic play until neither side could really make any progress without harming his position.

My rating jumped 46 points with this boring draw, though.
