2.) Seminole Republic will be returned to it's former borders.

THe borders onSeminole-Florida are incorrect with their pre-occupation borders but Cuba and Florida sign.

Note for confused/stupid people: The UNSA thing was a bad joke, further comments upon that will be viewed harshly, possibly with forum moderator intervention.

The Texan Republic Signs

Our Envoys will be in contact with Jamaican dignitaries.

Joseph Salt, Prophet and Leader of Deseret, signs.

Indeed, it is very important to all!

Haiti will not sign the treaty. We did not free Jamaica from one white country to hand to another.
So continue fighting Georgia because Texas is supervising elections in a country Georgia has agreed to give up?

I don't follow your logic...

We hereby condemn the socialist faction in the French civil war. They are a prime example of illegal socialism at work.

Rio de Janeiro, 1912

The Second Congress of the Socialist International proved to be the beginning of the end for the government of Afonso Pena. Booed off the stage for rejecting violent revolution and advocating peaceful transition to Socialism the Founding Father of South American Socialism returned to Rio de Janeiro in poor spirits and poor health. He stepped down from his position as Chairman of the Council of Ministers in late 1911 but remained the head of the Socialist Party that ruled the country.

Following the departure of Pena the People's Council elected Jose Batlle y Ordonez to lead the country. Pena and Ordonez did not see eye to eye on many issues, amongst them the question of violent revolution. While Pena, a pragmatic reformer, favored reconciliation with non-Socialist countries Ordonez believed that revolution was the only answer. His "radical" wing of the Socialist party remained a minority for now but Ordonez himself had a lot of charisma and power and could lead his followers to power.

What followed was a separation of Party and Government. From his position of leadership in the Party Pena created a Central Committee of the Socialist Party to be the standing body in charge of the party. The committee, which Pena headed, quickly established a Secretariat, a Political Bureau, and an Organizational Bureau. Pena quickly appointed like-minded individuals to top positions in these new party organs and effectively took over the job of policy making.

Ordonez attempted to resist the moves, but with the Socialist Party in full control of the government whatever the platform of the Party was would be the policy of the government. He grudgingly accepted the orders handed down to him from the Political Bureau and tried to do his best to place members of his "radical" wing into government positions.

In August of 1912 Afonso Pena died after a long illness. His supporters rallied behind Venceslau Bras, a young charismatic leader who was in charge of Foreign Policy in the Political Bureau. The radical wing of the party under Ordonez prepared for the Party Congress that would elect a new leader and may finally give them the chance to wield real power.

Foreign Ministry of the Socialist Union of South America

Concerning the Unrest in France

The Socialist Union maintains that violence is not in the interest of any people and calls for a return to peace. We believe that popular expression through free elections is the best way for a nation to reach a decision on the course for the future. We hope for a peaceful outcome to this conflict that would be the best for all the people of France.

Specifically we condemn the Communist movement in France for escalating the violence in the country. The ideals of Socialism - freedom, peace, prosperity, tolerance - cannot be achieved through violent means. We call on the Communist movement to end the violence and to work towards the restoration of order in France so that all of the French people, including Communists, may chart a course for the future.

OOC: And I'm sure the violent conservative opposition will be fine with that.

From Republic of Italy
To French Factions

We condemn the socialist faction in this war as the illegitimate cause of this conflict.

OOC: Conservatives can look like jerks all they want, I am just trying to make sure Socialism is not associated with violent revolutions.

OOC: You can say what you want too, but we don't like socialism. Funny how almost all the communist nations were started with war then huh?
