What Georgia did is an attack against Texas. They attempted to kill off a president and possibly incite chaos. Georgia's defensive pact does not come into play due to the fact that Georgia's cowardly act started this fight. I would advise Georgia to tread carefully, else she would suffer the wrath of not just the Gulf Alliance, but the North American continent as a whole.

Do not take this as a declaration of war, we have no desire for war in these uncertain times, but if the attacks persist, we will defend ourselves accordingly.

Greetings, Herr Kaiser. I am sorry that our first contacts had to be through the barrels of rifles, but Cloutier would have it no other way. I am unaware of what information has been spread about the Syndicates, but I suspect it to be irrelevant. I am here to make a proposal.

The independent Métis nation was founded as a Republic, which was subverted by Cloutier, who became a despot. He no longer has the best interests of his own people, or even the German people, at heart- he would see thousands of Germans die before even considering of abandoning his position.

I implore you to allow free elections to be held in the Métis nation. Perhaps they could be supervised by such nations as the Republic of New England, Virginia, or Texas, to ensure fairness. No one will gain anything from the continued leadership of Cloutier the despot, at any rate.

Trust me, I am very aware of the close economic relationship developed between the Métis and the Germans in previous years. This can only be damaged by the continued support of a dictator who is universally despised by his countrymen and women. Please consider this request, and make the right decision.

Another reason for the probable cause of victory was the death of aging King Frederick VIII. This reactionary ruler was believed to have been the heart of the conservative movement in Denmark and his death greatly weakened their political strength. His son, a St. Petersburg educated liberal, has been crowned the new King Christian X. He has offered his full support to the Dansk Fremskridtspartiet and any political actions they may choose to take, domestically or abroad. (+2 Stability)

Yay I knew this was going to happen. At least my economy is improving. How should I act now that my government seemingly hates Germany?

EDIT: My stability should be at 8, EQ. I had 5 Stability in the turn before, and I spent 6 EP on it, therefore bringing it up to 6, and the elections gave me an extra +2 Stability.

Excuse me? Georgia attacked no one. Georgians may have been involved in a plot of dubious character, but the nation of Georgia sponsored no acts of terrorism. If you want to brand an entire nation for the action of a few citizens, then perhaps France should condemn Deseret for the crimes committed by a few criminals in the hey day of the Imperium?

Of course you know, such a thing is completely silly. You, as well as your comrades, are secretly trying to find a way to take down Georgia and its righteous government - and no more. Hmm... you seem awfully set in your ways about it too. Could it be that the Gulf Alliance et al is nothing more than a communist front? Something to think about.

SUSA has even proclaimed itself an enemy to violent socialist uprisings. Yet your allies in Mexico City and the Commune of the Lakota have actively sponsored the violent uprising of the Miami within Virginia's borders, and even continue to do so. We ask that, if SUSA is true to her word, that you cut off all relations and trade with those who sponsor violent communism.

Guns, ammunition, food supplies, and even soldiers are being trafficked through your territory to arm the insurgency in Miami. For years Virginia has been peaceful and considerate to the Miami, integrating their once-backward nation into the world economy, and increasing the prosperity of those people. If Miami falls to communism the Algonquin Nation will be all but surrounded by hostile regimes bent on expanding their ideology through violence.

We don't ask for Algonquin aid in this fight, this much we know is not possible. But we do hope the Algonquin will step up border patrols, destroy Lakota and Mexican outposts in their nations, and stop the supply routes from going through her prairies.
