A Brave New World Part 2

To the French Imperium
From King Robert II of Virginia
RE: Canada, New England

Your declaration of war is both harsh and premature. The correct way to do things, especially on a foreign continent, is to negotiate a resolution, especially if others are willing. I ask France withdraw its declaration of war, and instead bring its influence to the negotiations so that we can come up with some peaceful solution.

It may be a French protectorate under attack, but its also a war on Virginia's borders. I will not hesitate to protect MY own interests, in this case the security of our borders and western provinces.

To those concerned over the Fox-Sauk war
From Deseret

We will side with Virginia on this matter, a powerful Sauk nation to our north is not in our best interests. We do not wish to recreate the bloody history of the East or even that of Europe. We ask that France withdraw its delcaration of war and work towards a peaceful resolution in the war. If needed Deseret will host the peace talks.

To Deseret, France, Canada, Fox, Sauk
From King Robert II

Peace talks in Deseret is acceptable to Virgina, and I highly recommend others to send delegations as well.

We will attend the negotiations.

From Brazil
To Germany and the Berlin Alliance

Instability in the country continues and the current government is closer and closer to losing control over the situation. We require much more active support on the part of Germany, and potentially other members of the alliance, to restore stability and maintain order in the country.

We would be willing to send some soldiers to help secure an area for you if you wish. Say a Destroyer and 5 - 10 Infantry depending on what you request.

From Russia
To Serbia, Bulgaria

We urge you to pull back your armies from the border and avoid another meaningless conflict. Russia is prepared to pay reparations to both Serbia and Bulgaria for the forces lost in this insignificant border conflict. Please, do not cause more meaningless bloodshed!

From Russia
To the Government of Ecuador

We are highly perturbed by recent developments in your country. Any learned man can easily see that this "socialism" is nothing more than a highly unstable economical system that, even though it might hold true to its ideal for a short while, degenerates into an oppressing dictatorship at the slightest push! Please, do not do this: do not bring ruin and famine to your country.

From Russia
To the Powers of the World

Recent developments in Ecuador (and Quebec and Brazil to a lesser extent) are highly disturbing. These "socialists" must not be allowed to spread their riotous ideas to the rest of the world! Russia suggests that we come to a joint consensus on what to do about them.

From Russia
To Galicia

Very well our Slavic brothers! Welcome to the Holy Alliance!

From Russia
To Austria

We strongly condemn your recent undeclared invasion of Bohemia. Cease hostilities now. Russia will not stand by while war ravages Europe.

New England is also concerned over the rise of these radicals and feels that a conference should be called among the major powers to discuss what to do about them.

From Brazil
To New England and Russia

The unfortunate truth is that the incompetent and repressive rule of the two previous Emperors of Brazil has led to a rise in radicalism and socialism throughout the country. The situation is similar on other parts of the world. If Russia and New England are serious about reversing the trend they absolutely must help integrate Brazil and other impoverished nations into the world economic order and help with economic and social development of these nations. Otherwise socialism and nationalism will continue to thrive. Any and all assistance you can provide for Brazil to overcome this challenge is most welcome.

We do not like this invasion of Bohemia. We are very wary of your actions in Europe.

We still need an apology.

Thanks for the offer. We'll end it if Bulgaria ends it.

Quebec agrees with France on this matter and the Fox must be punished, Quebec declares war on the Fox.

Re: Sauk-Fox War

We feel that a peaceful solution can be found to this conflict. While the Fox did start this war, they did so due to Sauk atrocities on their own populace. It is that genocide that should be dealt with, not the Fox, who were attempting to help people in need. We urge France and Quebec to reconsider their declarations of war. We also support peace talks in Deseret to resolve this dispute.

I think I'll take Iroquois.

To: Nez Perce, Lakota Sioux

The recent events involving the Miami have shown us that the Europeans and their ilk cannot be trusted to leave us alone. Traditionally, we have solved our problems by going to war against each other, but we see that it only results in giving the white men a reason to subjugate our people. Therefore, I propose that we set up a full trade and defensive alliance between the indigenous nations of the continent in order to preserve what lands we have left. While we may disagree over many things, we cannot afford to continue quibbling over petty incidents. However, with the current war between the Sauk and the Fox, it would seem inadvisable to admit them until their conflict is over.

From: Iroquois
To: All those affected by the Sauk-Fox War

The Iroquois Confederacy is willing to accept with open arms anyone who is being negatively affected by the horrors of war between the Sauk, the Fox, and the Istani. For centuries, we have lived peacefully despite being composed of several different tribes, and we see no reason why we should not aid those who have been forced into unfortunate circumstances.

You do realize Deseret isn't a Native American tribe, right?

Declaration from Keokuk III, King of the Sauk on the Peace Talks for the Fox Republic's war of aggression against the Kingdom of Sauk

Our brave soldiers managed not only to defend our glorious nation from the sneak attack by the Fox Republic, but carried the battle them and, due their magnificent results of counter-offensive, are on the verge to end this conflict by debellation.

Therefore we are unsure to the point of engaging in peace talks when the only realistic offer the Fox can make at this moment is unconditional surrender.

However, as a sign of goodwill, we are willing to send an observer to these talks to see if you can manage to convince the warmongering Fox regime to lay down their weapons and spare their soldiers further hardships for their madness.

Sorry, I am back.

To Sauk and Fox
CC: the World
Sauk, you are responable for suppresing a culture that could help your overall nation while Fox started the war unprepared and suffered the consequences. If Fox promises to not fight the Sauk and the Sauk give the Istani more freedoms we are done and we can move to the future. However, if the Fox agrees, they can join under a looser Sauk Leadership.

OOC: Great update as always.

IC: To: France, Virginia, all concerned with the Sauk-Fox war
From: Mexico

The Mexican Empire is concerned with the French and Quebec declaration of war against the Fox. While it is true the Fox are the aggressors in this matter the Sauk's treatment of the Istani people should not go unpunished.

The Mexican Empire hopes that this situation can be resolved peacefully without this war expanding to involve other powers.
