These recent arguments over the Delaware River trouble us. A resolution must be found, as this river is important to the economies of all of our nations. We are open to any suggestions you might have, but we know one thing for sure. The government of New Jersey has no right to tax ships on these waters, and we hope that they don't try to.

A solution sounds clear to Virginia. All nations shall allow free passage and free trade on the river. You may proceed to tax goods and services in port, but not on the river.

Here is our proposal.

1. The cessation of Amsterdam and the surrounding areas to the National Republic of France, as well as all formerly Dutch land currently occupied by the National Republic of France, which shall be annexed with no objection in the present or future from the current acting government of Dutch forces overseas.
2. Dutch authority over land in Oceania, including New Holland and the Indonesian island chains, shall not be contested by the Co-Axial Pact of Nations.
3. The Co-Axial Pact of Nations and the Dutch Imperial Remnants shall cease all hostilities and sign a pact of non-aggression to last for 15 years at minimum.
4. The Dutch Imperial Remnants may form their own government or governments which the National Republic of France will recognize as legitimate.
5. The Dutch Imperial Remnants will cut all ties and promises of support with the nations and former nations of the EAN and recognize France's authority over those territories.
6. Dutch prisoners of war currently held by the National Republic of France will be returned to New Holland with amnesty and transport paid for and provided by the National Republic of France.
7. French prisoners of war currently held by the Dutch will be returned to France with amnesty and transport paid for and provided by the Dutch Imperial Remnants.

The most important item here is #3. Consider long how much value peace shall have for the both of us.

We would advise the Dutch to accept this peace. It is highly unlikely that you will ever recapture the Dutch homeland, and it is time to make your colonies your new metropole.
 
OOC: Is Prussia a French protectorate? That's what I thought Crezth meant a few days ago, but I was probably wrong. In which case if it's right, I'll have to pay less for stability!

OOC: Prussia isn't a French protectorate, it simply exists because of France, as it was a part of Germany until the French Blitz destroyed that country. You're like a protectorate, you just have none of the benefits, your population hates that you exist, and if you try to do anything that France doesn't like, he crushes you again.
