A Brave New World Part 2

India is available for now. I hope you're familar with what's going on and the history of the region as it applies to this timeline

Moderator's Note I apologize for the below late responses to diplomacy, and for not updating the deadline. AS in the past, the deadline remains 6 PM on the upcoming Sunday.

To: Italy and France
From: Turkish Sultanate

Following Russia's abandonment we are willing to discuss peace. We are willing to renounce claims on the areas claimed from Greece, assuming the full military withdrawal from the Co-Axial Pact from our lands.

To: Democratic Republic of Mexico
From: Yucatan

Our nation has had a history of independence and identity over the centuries which has been continuously squelched by various governments. Do not deny us what we deserve from our rights as a people and our glorious Mayan heritage of civilization.

To: Mexico
From: Nez Perce

At this time we are not interested in a pact between our nations, as a country and people we shall begin to set our own course through history without influence from Mexico City.

To: Mexico
From: Lakota Sioux

We are more than happy to sign a proposed pact of cooperation between our two friendly nations.

To: Fox Republic
From: Sauk Kingdom

We have spent enough time listening to your mewing leaders and misguided notions. We will NEVER allow our traditions and people to be subjected to your fiction of a unified state again.

To: Fox Republic
From: Isanti

We will not reunite as a single nation, as our people have seen enough rule from other tribes, and we shall guide our own course from here on out. We will however be willing to take measures of defense against possible Sauk aggression and the theoretical revival of their militaristic past.

To: Republic of New England
From: Cuba

We will be happy to give you 50% of all taken ships, providing we select which to send you.

To: Virginia
From; Sauk Kingdom

As the original state in the region, we deserve the reparations more than oru misguided brethren.

To: Turkish Sultanate
From: France

Due to disparate damages caused to the Republic of Italy, we must demand you pay 7 EP in reparations.

Reminding you Warman that I did surrender if you missed my post.

We have seen your surrender and accept it. We have yet to have a full meeting of the ministry [eq] to discuss our possible new terms to you.

To: Russia
From: China

Here is our proposal for possible referendums in the Manchuria area. As you can see, it is broken up into three areas. Each of these is to have a separate referendum.

Spoiler :

I. The Chaoyang Strip was taken by Russia in the early 1900s and never returned to China. It is historically Chinese and it was lost when the illegitimate Chinese Collectives negotiated it away to Russia. As this area is likely most culturally Chinese, we could possibly hold a referendum here first with its outcome determining if the other two referendums are to take place at all. (OOC: If it votes to go with China, we hold the other two, if it votes to go with Russia we can assume the referendum would fail for us everywhere so there is no point).

II. This city is historically Mongolian but sits on the border area also has a large Chinese influence. Because it is a border town and it is difficult to determine the dominant culture we suggest this area be handled separately.

III. Manchuria proper. This area was taken by Russia some time ago. Although the Communist invasion of this area showed us that a significant and very nationalistic Chinese population still exists there, we will understand if the majority of the population has adopted Russian as their identity.

OOC: Prussia isn't a French protectorate, it simply exists because of France, as it was a part of Germany until the French Blitz destroyed that country. You're like a protectorate, you just have none of the benefits, your population hates that you exist, and if you try to do anything that France doesn't like, he crushes you again.

OOC: Mhmm, that's what I'd gathered over the last two updates. Thanks for putting their hatred for Prussia in such clear words though. Good thing I don't mind the last though. I'd become a protectorate if I wasn't sure that'd hurt my economy come a sequel.

Prussia to France, Bulgaria, Russia, Romania, Turkey

While we have no say in this we would like to note our desire to see Bulgaria inherit the eastern Constantinople and its immediately surrounding coastline of the Bosporus strait to secure Romanian and Bulgarian shipping as the western part is being returned to Russia. Such a bilaterial handover of de facto and de jure control on the respective sides of the straits will indicate trust and set a marvelous precedent for bilaterial relations, of which continued serene shipping and communal security may warm the the relations of former warring partners that ought to be good neighbors.

To: Virginia

From: Fox republic

It is clear that the reparation money from the war will go to the Fox Republic as we were the legitamate Goververnment of the war.

The Agressive sauks have shown their dislike of her surrounding neighbours, it has been made clear that they hated the war,

So why on good green earth should they be rewarded.

To: The Isanti
From: The Fox Republic

We are happy to see your disbelief in the sauks, very agressive people at heart.
It is clear that we must lean on each other if the other was to be attacked,

I propose a defensive military allience between out two nations.

The Democratic Republic of New Jersey is happy to see peace achieved around the world and is ready to embrace this new era of peace and prosperity.

To: Republic of New England
From: Cuba

We will be happy to give you 50% of all taken ships, providing we select which to send you.

To Cuba
From New England

That would be most appreciated

To: France
From: Sweden

We will be willing to come to the peace tables. Send us your terms over private channels and we will continue this discussion there.

(OOC: I wont be back until Sunday, am away on Thanksgiving break so please don't get mad if my replies are a bit late.)

To: France
From: Sweden

Naturally. Our terms are forthcoming.

(OOC: Have I ever gotten mad about NES before?)

@crezth, yes you have

This'd be the less than 48 hour warning

To France
From The Dutch

These terms are reasonable we accept

ooc: i was going to say let peace in europe be long lasting but F that im in the pacific now. Oh damn what to do about giving New Holland and the rest of them their independence. Well guys the dutch have had a good run

OOC: Indeed, their empire is certainly the only proper one so far in 174 years of history to survive the dissolution of their motherland through a war and into a peace treaty. It'll be exciting to see how this develops.

To Russia, France, Bulgaria

Have you decided on the Bosporus strait yet? Bulgaria deserves a reward from Turkey if she is to return the western coastline of the Bosporus back to Russia. Turkey herself of course, deserves to lose at least a little more than 7 EP for all the damage she has done. Is not Korea being handled just as Russia wants? Turkey deserves more than a token slap on the wrist.

To France and Dutch Imperial Remnants

Macau must be returned to Portugal. Is Eastern New Guinea a legal French holding? If yes it should also be returned.

To Dutch Imperial Remnants from Prussia

Would you be interested in selling us Dutch Inuit Nanut for a price? Controlling your native population there may be difficult in the upcoming years of your Empire. We're interested in the fishing and mining rights and would pledge not to build bases there in order to allay the fears of North American nations. If you are indeed interested we would like to sign a deal with you for the Year of 1946.

To Russia, Galicia, proposed Transylvania and the World (with the exception of Munich, Copenhagen and London) from Prussia

We once again ask for mutual official recognition of Prussia and her rightful ownership of the illegal Munich colonies!

Proposed Cessation of the Eastern Bosporus coastline to Bulgaria

We remind Russia that Turkey isn't being asked to limit itself in any other way than a strip of land and 7 EP, a grandiose treatment compared to negotiations elsewhere. The Axis should be tired of its benevolence to Allied nations such as Tunisia and Egypt by now. Turkey knew the price was greater than 7 EP when she decided to waste millions of Italian, French, Russian, Kurdish and Turkish lives on a selfish gamble of no result after cynically sending the Tunisians and Egyptians into the meatgrinder for herself.
