Government Collapses!:
Patriotic-Socialist Government Formed!:
Matters came to a head around 7 o'clock as darkness descended on the large crowd out front of Parliament. Attempts to disperse the crowd by turning off the street lights failed as protesters began to light barrels full of cooking oil to illuminate their banners which pronounced in no uncertain terms the views of this newspaper "down with the traitors", "down with the enemy within", "down with the Dutch puppets" and other messages to flowery to be taken down on paper (which this paper likewise agreed with).
Troops who had merely been guarding the approaches to the snakes lair, were instructed by a joint communique by the Minister of Defense and the Prime Minister "to deal with the traitors with all due haste." A certain patriot, Capt. C. reports our boys in uniform were heard to yell "Sir! We know where the real traitors lie!" to which the good Capt. asked them to point, fully three thousand fingers are said to have pointed at the Parliament and the traitors inside. With a roar, the crowds jumped forward, backed up by the good soldiers who had been asked to fire upon their own fellow citizens! They burst into chambers which were blocked by all manner of temporary barricades, which were promptly shifted by the crowd. The cowards within, still hoping for military units racing from the Belgian-Orangist border, showed their contempt for their fellows by weakening our defenses for their own gain!
None of this was well received by our boys, who dragged out the traitors, tied them to saddles and paraded them around the now wakening city. It was around this time that Chief of General Staff B. Castlenau and Chief of the Military C. Blount racing from the headquarters of the army met with leading opposition figures from the Nationalist Party, our very own Catholic-Socialist Party, Catholic Party, Catholic-Liberal Party and a splinter faction of the government. It was decided to call an immediate sitting of Parliament, to pass a vote of no confidence in the government. At just after 5 o’clock with the government benches empty, a vote of no confidence was passed to “Hurrahs” “Belgian Socialists for Catholicism” and “Catholicism is Belgium!” by the crowd which had crammed into the chambers.

March Crisis Over, Traitors Ousted!:
Streets Still to be Cleaned!:
Today marks the end of the March Crisis, the socialists have been deposed. In a special session of Parliament the March Acts have been repealed. Belgium once again has a State Religion, Catholicism! This newspaper says, “Long May the Mother Church Rule in Heaven!”
It should be no surprise patriotic citizens that we now have a new government, you all knew it was untenable for the Socialists to hold power, with the declining confidence of the people, a fracturing coalition and treasonous leanings. The attempts of the former after passing the March Acts, to rule without a majority, to suspend elections and to show contempt for the people of Belguim not seen on a level since the Oragnist scum crossed our borders last raised the ire of all true Belgians.
Well citizens, Castlenau is the new president, Blount is the new speaker of the house and true patriots – military men and industrialists – have been given positions in the Senate pending elections! Citizens, God hath looked down favourably on His children! We offer our unqualified support for this new government!
Let us repeat, Castlenau, the hero of the war and saviour of the Republic is President! Blount, a hero of the war and saviour of the Republic is Speaker of the House!

Betrayers of Belgian Identity Gone!:
Streets Still to be Cleaned!:
Citizens; the traitor government has been disposed by the glorious acts of the workers in a storming of Parliament reminiscent of Bastille! Better yet citizens, Comrades Valens and Barnard of our very own Socialist Party-Separatist have been given prominent roles in the Patriotic-Socialist government!
Communiqué from the Patriotic-Socialist Party
Patriotic-Socialist Organization!:
Citizens, today is an auspicious day, in a flurry of negotiations between army, industry, politics and organized labour a series of concords yet unseen in Belgian history have been reached.
A new arbitration body, the Patriotic-Socialist Court of Industry and Labour has been formed to resolve long standing wage issues and other impediments to economic progress which have wracked this nation for the better part of a decade. All current strikes are hereby ended, pending discussions with industry and binding resolutions made by the court, with President Castlenau and Speaker Blount presiding. All parties have agreed to their mediation.
Key industrial leaders have agreed in principle to the aggregation of critical infrastructure and industry in the hands of a number of key institutional companies, on the understanding that they will work for the national interest in future in close companionship with leaders of organized labour.
Funding for the national defence which has in recent years had been cut is to be greatly expanded, with the construction of the Line of Patriots to defend our borders. Acting in concert with labour and industry this massive expenditure is expected to stimulate the key productive areas of the economy and ensure a large degree of growth in areas deemed to be of national importance.
The Senate has been enlarged, with the new seats given in these proportions to key figures, 1/4th to military men, 1/4th to industry, 1/4th to the Church and 1/4th to organized labour. This has been done in order to safeguard the four fundamental pillars of the Belgian state.
A new party combining all previous parties, including the Socialist Party-Separatist, Nationalist Party, the Catholic-Socialist Party, Catholic Party and Catholic-Liberal Party has been inaugurated to ensure continuity of government.
This party is now known as the Patriotic-Socialist Party and will form government in the interim period before a fresh set of elections .
