Your invasion of the Netherlands is not only immoral but also an attack on an ally of Virginia. Renounce your attempts and invasion and sign a peace treaty before your greed brings about more war.

Die Niederlande is a territory of the German Empire, with its king being Kaiser Wilhelm II. We never invaded, we merely sent in troops to solidify the new king's control and to quell the rebellion. So, don't threaten war with us, we are just dealing with our domestic problems...none of your concern.

That is preposterous. The Netherlands has and always will be a sovereign nation among nations. Your attempt to domesticize the situation is blatantly a way to justify Germany's invasion. The Virginian-Dutch alliance is the oldest on the planet, and we are not about to disregard it. Again I ask, withdraw and make peace with the Netherlands.
After the death of the previous King of the Netherlands, Kaiser Wilhelm II became the next in line due to a royal marriage many years prior. Your alliance, old as it may be, does not trump the royal family (which Wilhelm II is part of) which has ruled over the country since before you even existed.
So, our dealings with the Dutch populace is purely our business, being a domestic affair. We would expect you not to interfere as we would not interfere with situations regarding your Ohio territory.
The Dutch people do not wish to be a part of the German Empire. The Netherlands is still a sovereign country. Your invasion is unwanted. Those are all the points that matter.
ooc: EQ, I thought it was true that the House of Lee was closer in line with the Dutch monarchy then the Hohenzollerns?
Regarding the flu: As it appears that further explanation is required, The Danish flu DID NOT start in Denmark. It was merely publicized to a great degree for the first time in the Danish Empire. My OTL example is Spanish flu which some evidence points to emerging from Kansas of all places. I stick by my choices on that, which reflect the level of medicine in each country as well as other variables as well with a small degree of randomness.
Swine Flu can't be passed from Pigs to Humans but that didn't stop Egypt from killing thousands of pigs.
