I feel that our nations have much to gain from a joint trade agreement. Would you consent to a Trans-Atlantic Trading Pact?

OOC: EQ I'm not super familiar with the A Brave New World history... did Portugal colonize Brazil, and if so, since Brazil is independent, are they on good terms as of now?

@sp1023: Brazil no longer exists. The closest thing to the old Brazilian government is Nova Brazil in Africa. Brazil was taken over by the Socialists and is now the Socialist Union of South America. We're always looking for new friends, but I don't see how this agreement would be possible considering the political differences.

Good work on the stories so far folks, getting me into the mood of things once again! Taking a look at orders now, and I'd like to remind everyone of two things:

1. Failure to send any sort of PM regarding your playing of the called nation will result in removal from preference for that nation, opening it up to the unwashed masses.

2. DON'T Rely on anyone (even me) to respond to you before sending in orders. I have seen through many NESes, this technique only results in disaster.

It has been suggested to me that the industry referred to in my orders for Nijeria might conceivably in fact not exist (due to no-one having ever created it, or due to lack of investment interest in Africa), in which case please take this as an addition to orders:

if the said industry does not exist, put the allocated funds into speculation and into the creation of said industry under direct government control.
