There are three people who knew of my ability and results early on, the two I think I gave full disclosure are dead, Zack and choxorn, but I also talked to BSmith. And I know Sprig 2 asked me stuff and I cant remember how much I told him.

Yes that means I am the same role Johanna claimed, my thinking after I saw that claim (given the choxorn result) was that I was an unreliable counterpart.

I was refusing to give the results for two reasons. First I figured if someone is messing with my results rather than me being an unreliable scanner than most likely it was scum ("disguising" sounds like a scum role to me at least) so revealing everything was more likely to give potentially useful information to scum than town. More importantly I was hoping to draw fire from scum by making them wonder if I was lying about being unreliable. Not exactly the most awe-inspiringly brilliant idea ever, but I figured my death might be useful in keeping useful people alive.

Other than alternating between yakuza and not yakuza (which I find amusing) I don't see much there, so make of it what you will.

What useful information are you talking about, when you were asked to reveal publicly, you only had to reveal you scanned Kennigit (a lynched yakuzza), BSmith (a living not yakuzza/townie) and Choxorn (a dead townie)?? Please point to me where is a piece of useful information scum could use?

I am not very surprised. I came into contact with both of them after I reluctantly switched my vote away from choxorn. Choxorn revealed to me that he was a watcher and had seen me (and Zack, iirc) target BSmith the previous night. Then, the follwing day, I contacted Zack to try to know more about choxorn and their relationship. I mentioned I didn't think they were yakuza anyway, Zack assumed I had watched him and since I was still reluctant to fully reveal, I played along. A second reason being that I had scanned Sprig that night, who ended up dead, and thus this second scan could conceivably be made up. But choxorn had watched Zack that night and of course I hadn't targeted him. Although that probably made him suspect me, I was then convinced that they were not buddies.

I also figured out who the Samurai is from those conversations, unless I'm very wrong.

So, I figure everyone has been blocked, right? It's been implied by Sprig. Any vanillas can come out and say if they got blocking notifications? Because BSmith first claimed to me in PM conversation to be vanilla (right when I told him I had scanned him as not Yakuza, because I didn't trust choxorn/Zack yet), yet now says he 'wasn't blocked tonight'. Which, frankly, makes me suspicious.

I remember some game with a bag of objects which allowed the posessor to do a variety of actions, though only one per night. Right now I'm thinking BSmith is a Ninja.

There's nothing really solid, if vanillas are notified of roleblocks (which wouldn't be usual), but still I will Unvote; vote: BSmith1068

So, yeah. Vanillas are notified - at least with the Samurai - and I would hazard a guess that other blocks would be the same.

I think it's just a samurai thing. Which is why I had my doubts in the first place. In any case, if there have been attempts by the same person two nights in a row, it can't be you.

You don't need to guess. It is all in thread.. There have been 5 types of blocks been mentioned by victims of role blocking in game so far:

Samurai
Wires
Policeman
Rose
Woman

I think it's just a samurai thing. Which is why I had my doubts in the first place. In any case, if there have been attempts by the same person two nights in a row, it can't be you.

You hadn't told me a billion times. You made an offhand comment about ninja. I was curious why but you avoided clarifying.

I thought I had been rather clear in that I am not worried about non-town, it is anti-town that I am after. If you had been upfront and provided clarity about your role and said that "Hey I'm not town but my goal is X" we wouldn't be in the situation.

Why am I the scummiest? Because as far as I see, only that suicide Yakuza early on exceeded my levels of public self-exposure.

What, you don't think the answer to whether my scans are always unreliable or merely that specific one of them was messed with by someone else's power is useful information? I certainly think whether or not we can rely on a scanner's results is pretty important. And like I said I think it is more likely that a disguiser would be scum. Therefore, I think scum would be more likely to be able to determine whether my results are reliable or not.
