Or at least that's what I thought at first. ;)

I'm one of the luckier ones, and for the most part, Civ IV runs with no problems. I have an NVidia 6600GT graphics card and a gig of memory.

However, as the game progresses, rivers will occasionally turn black. Just rivers, and a reload will fix it, though it will generally return. Any ideas?

I noticed on my ATI Radeon 7900 Pro that when using the World Builder, the "wheat" resource would show up on all black, unexplored tiles after I closed the World Builder again.

I have only noticed this once, and only with the wheat resource. The tile itself would still be black, but the wheat resource would display on top of the black tile.

I think these types of bugs are considered "minor bugs" and will probably be fixed with a patch some time in the future.

I have a GeForce 4 MX. Besides wonders movies crashing the game, the only video problem that I've had is that the rivers turn up a neon green if I have not explored that area yet.
