AFSNES I – The New Dawn

Ar least I get a mention:p I hoped in "best new player", but the awards are perfect

Wee, I got the one award that shouldn't really exist! :D ;)

Not that I'm complaining, I'm certainly not saying I should have gotten any of the others. Your awards make a lot of sense, every one of them, very worthy winners all. And I'm proud of my nation's many awards, they mean a lot more to me than 'winner' (and are probably the whole reason why I've 'won').

Thanks for a very enjoyable game das! I look forward to the next installment in this series. :)

Evilest Player: silver2039 - he kept razing cities and genociding what masses of people he didn't throw out into the countryside instead. It's about time he reclaimed this reward, by the way.

Evilest Empire: Holy Tibetan Empire - has been simultaneously strongly hostile to minorities within and countries without, leading to rebellions and coalitions - both of which have been crushed with overwhelming ruthlessness.

My evil is resurgent!!!!!! YAY!!

It's Heavenely Tibetan Empire BTW, not Holy.

These are quite equally satisfying though:

Greatest East Asian Power: Holy Tibetan Empire.

Strongest Army: Holy Tibetan Army.

Largest Nation: Holy Tibetan Empire.

I never get any positive awards. I would have atleast gotten most powerful. Now I have to wait a year to try again.

Congratulations, Niklas! Well played. I have to admit, back during the very first years of the Ankhade, I didn't think you would pull through, but somehow you managed it very respectably and even brilliantly, despite enemies all around. Props to you! :goodjob:
Best Orders: Dachspmg - detailed and inspired, but at the same time concisely-worded orders, occasional strangeness aside.
Wow. That was a bit unexpected...but not unawesome! Thanks, sir!

As to the "strangeness", do you mean stuff like spending on the lavish coronation, or do you mean stuff like switching to the Teutons and switching back, or do you mean stuff like the order set title "Delete the previous Update 6 Thuringian order set and use this one instead plz."? :p

Most Inquisitive Player: Dachspmg - others asked plenty of questions as well, but I think he wins by sheer quantity and organisation.
Bwahaha! Victory is mine again! It's like my version of "Evilest Player", where I'm silver. :p

I want to see players' orders for this NES...I'm too curious XD

I made it look worse than it was to be honest, if you look back at the updates what happened was an attack into one area, dominating it, then next turn Niklas ran off to defend that area, of course I pulled out and attacked elsewhere, not wanting to match Niklas' larger armies, I had one shot at doing some damage to him, with Gyat (fun character :p) and when Andis betrayed Niklas (because I scared him sufficiently) the armies that fought were roughly equal but I didn't get my armies to move quickly enough (gyat managed to get cut off from my second army that was meant to support him :p). Then I signed peace because I was unable to get anyone else involved (all the PC's in charge of the rest of the ashaist nations (apart from Contempt) asked me "what can you give me", I was telling them that they were going to get killed...and well...they did...)

I found that to be most skillful. But I think you should have scorched the land you took leaving it irreparable and crippling him, you were basically trying to bludgeon him to death with a blunt object...you needed some fire.

I'm generally too paranoid about military orders to show other people, sorry.

However, in a quixotic renewal of my attempt to finish something on the NES wiki, this NES has been added and text has been furnished! Awards are being posted NAO. It's of course still under construction, please assist.

I will be posting some of mine, how ever short or stupid they may be at some points.

@Silver: Strongest army should have been mine, I dislike that Sitivasas got no award at all not even greatest fall.

Very well thought out awards to complement a great NES! I thought perhaps I was in the running for unluckiest, but certainly Lucky deserves it after that spectacular fall.

I also concur that all of the awards were given to the right people. I'll be waiting for when there is another IT.

Yup, this was indeed my first NES. Which would make LINESII my second and ChaNES my third. :p I'm also going to take responsibility for saving Hellas and winning the war for Akkad, when I jumped on Miletos's back in the third turn. :smug:

Oh, and congrats to silver for getting the evil award. I probably put more Ashaist civilians to the sword than any other player, but I was too nice with the ones in my borders. To be a truly evil leader, you have to slaughter your own people as well. ;)

I got the only awards I deserved, and the second one really goes to Dis :D
