Also, would you, after a century of peace, just out-and-out attack another nation because it was next to you and at war with another nation that also had nothing to do with you? Finland, sweden's rightful territory? Sweden owned Finland several centuries ago. The turks owned Hungary several centuries ago. By your logic, Hungary should be under Turkish rule. Hungary's hypocrisy is laughable.

That being said, France shall do whatever in her power she can to defend the Finnish people and ensure the survival of a Finnish state.

As das says, we're not Communists, we threw them out. About Sweden and Finland, the Finns were the initial aggressors invading Russia, so in our view Sweden has both preserved peace and regained its rightful territory. About Germany, they made no hostile moves toward either you or France and actually offered reasonable peace terms. The war against them was an aggressive one, pure and simple.

Because the current Russian Fraction in charge of Moscow are at least sane enough not to actively provoke the Western Powers and interefere in business which does not concern themselves.

Finland's own aggression against the Bolshevik Russians, with whom Hungary sympathises despite the expulsion of its own communists, disqualifies it in our eyes from the victim status of Germany. It's status as PART of the Swedish Kingdom lasted for centuries, unlike the ad hoc Turkish occupation of Hungary, which was mainly to provide a route to their real enemies. If Britain wishes to stake its claim to parts of France, that is their affair.
