Altered Flags I: Red Stars everywhere!

I love the idea of a Pagan flag for the Scandinavian countries. But needs more variations. Like different number of ravens or different ravens.

I agree that there should bee different designs for the raven and the flag. In fact, the flags attested show different designs in their raven-design, their shape and their tassels. However, all the descriptions and depictions of historical raven banners that have survived until today seem to agree at displaying only one raven (which is strange since Odin had two ravens, Huginn and Muninn). Here you got the historical depictions:

A Bolivian and Chilean union? Those two countries? Really?

It would need Peru more than Ecuador, Ecuador doesn't even border the other two.

Why is Scotland no longer represented on the flag and why is St.Patrick's cross so messed up?

Why is St Patrick's cross still on the Union Jack in the first place?

To British people: it's been 90 years Ireland is independent! It's time to accept it guys. And your little colony on the Northern bit doesn't change anything.

Because there will be a referendum for Scottish independence in 2014. If independence wins, Scotland would become an independent country by 2016.

As fot the St. Patrick's Cross, all I have to say is that already that messed up in the current design. Here take a look:

As you can see the cross is far from symmetrical.

Why is St Patrick's cross still on the Union Jack in the first place?

To save money.

I already posted it in a different thread, but whatever.

(I don't like flags which include green. Don't know why, it seems a wrong colour for a flag.)

It's still "the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland". :dunno:

That's because it's meant to represent half a St. Patrick's Cross (red and white) and half a St. Andrew's cross (white). If you take away the St. Andrew's cross, then the St. Patrick's would be allowed to take up the whole saltire.

But what's the blue color doing there? You can justify the presence of the St. Patrick's cross because of Northern Ireland, but it's impossible to justify the presence of the Scottish flag after an hypothetic Scottish independence.

Maybe you're an islamophobe but you haven't noticed yet :mischief:

You'r right. The cross should be symmetrical.

I didn't say the flag represents a post-Scottish independence UK. I made it for fun when someone suggested that Wales should be represented on the Union Jack.

Ha, it didn't occur to me  But I was thinking about Hungary and all these African countries with green on their flags. It's just... bleh.

Here's my flag fixed

And here's a post-Scottish-independence UK flag following Winner's design.
