Actually, I think Prussia and Austria invaded Denmark in 1864, fought a war, and split that province between them in the peace treaty. A bit later, Prussia invaded Austria, got the whole province, and dissolved the North German Confederation. Or something like that.

Minor nitpicking. They kicked Austria out of the German Confederation and created the North German Confederation which was an actual federal state and not just an alliance.

Aronnax: the Hejaz should be Ottoman on both maps, not Egyptian.

Silesia should have the southern three provinces chopped off and distributed between Russia and the Habsburg Empire as necessary. The Patrimony of St. Peter is much too small on the 1864 map. I don't know what the hell you did to the Rhineland on the 1864 map, but Pfalz belongs to Bavaria. Sigmaringen is twice as large as it should be. Prussia should not control nearly as much junk as it does in North Germany. For instance, you forgot Hannover. Saxony is probably a bit too large.

German Confederation was a federal state too theoretically.
