Um...
Nevermind.
Ogedai's life was... shorter. Thus Sartak succesfully suceeded him after his earlier death. Then he irritated the Orthodox Christian religious officials with his Nestorianism. That caused him to burn down Novgorod, later allowing for much greater Teutonic and Scandinavian eastward expansion due to no Alexander Nevskiy. Oh, and then he pillaged his way through Poland, Hungary and parts of the Holy Roman Empire, later allowing for the untouched France to emerge predominant, and also crippling Poland for longer, thus allowing it, too, to be consumed by the Teutons. And then, Sartak died in an otherwise victorious battle somewhere near Venice, and the Mongols went home, after collecting some tribute.
