How are the Iberian west african holdings do anyway at this point in the Alt-hist?

Apart from Morocco and Benin, they mostly set up some trade posts and forts and that's about it. However, in the 17th century the Iberians will concentrate on Africa more.

Das, does Ireland still control Iceland at this point? And do you forsee someone uniting the feudal kingdoms?

Iceland is contested between Scotland and Ireland. Problem is, I can't guarantee that any of them will survive by 1700 (or the opposite, ofcourse). Chances are, ofcourse, that Ireland will be united - one way or another.

I put it to you that this is a completely different Henry VIII. For one thing, the Tudors are the Welsh ruling dynasty, not English.
