I think you are being sarcastic. At first, i would've rioted against the one party state, then i would be anti Browder, declare Texas independent and more .

No I'm serious. Also, on another note, no declarations of independence within the states went successful, and yours would have been no different Also, riots were pointless. The problem is that all the secessions gave Browder a reason to be tyrannical, because he was trying to bring back America. Hitler's excuse was that Germany was in a depression and was weak, and Stalin's was that Russia is enormous. That's also Putin's excuse

Well Stalin's excuse was that "Lenin did it" and Lenin only did it because Russia was literally invaded by 21 armies and 2/3rd of the territory was seceding under the White Army. Not to mention that Russia was really backward which forced the early government to make concessions and bargain ( aka Brest-Litovsk treaty ) which was Stalin's excuse to make peace with Nazis. (Non-aggression pact).

The story which was never written on this thread is what happened within the Communist Party. I think Foster and James Connolly were covertly manipulated and threatened by Browder who knew that everything would blow up at a point of time and steered the party to a point where he could become dictator. That would have been a killer story ! ... though more in line with my story . There's a plot at every corner.

Riots weren't pointless. In the end, browder had an electron fraud so he would've won anyway (If he was the leading candidate, please tell me so). And even if nobody seceded, we lost the WW II anyway. So even if nobody seceded, we would have a tyrannical browder.

All the other statements are true (Except Stalin and Putin i think )

Putin literally said that you need to be tough to rule all of Russia But if people hadn't seceded we wouldn't have lost WWII and Browder would have been able to be taken out peacefully or assassinated before he got too powerful. People were scared because of the secessions and he was there as the big brother, if people had left America strong, people wouldn't have needed a totalitarian ruler. Germany was weak so they got a dictator, so was Russia, and Spain, and Italy, and many many other nations. You don't see it often that an already strong nation that's free turn to a totalitarian ruler. It just doesn't happen.

Adding on to that. I believe earlier in the story, we all agreed that the number of votes in the story election also represent the % of ideology in Congress. Communist's just barely won the election thus if you all had stayed, logically, Foster wouldn't be able to do anything you didn't like.

The reason that everyone wanted independence was that the communist revolution was finished and the communists had won. If we didn't have one, we would've stayed strong and won the WW II. But nooo, you guys wanted a communist revolution. So if we never had a revolution, we wouldn't have states seceding which wouldn't lead to Browder

We wanted communist revolution because we were communist. I don't want to get back into it but we did it because we wanted to have our own fun but it was sorta kinda ruined. Anyways, closing argument, it wasn't the communists' fault, it was the secessionists, in my opinion.

It was the communist fault. Communism will lead to dictatorships in my opinion so everybody were scared that dictatorship will rise so they declared their independence. and forget what Foster said. He wanted to gain support.
