Hello

I've just dowloaded this great-looking scenario. Am playing with Rome, and got a problem: I can't get a luxury to "work". Right next to Oviedo, which I own, there's a "Bear" resource. Acording to civipedia, it is a luxury. The square is conected to everything by road, the Bear shows in my list of resources in the "Trade advisor", but it does not show inside the cities. So the cities don't get the luxury, and I'm in desperate need of luxuries any ideas?

Also, none of the military units work as military police. Is this on purpose? I'd assume that, in these ancient societies, troops in town would help calm people down...


Edit: I just realise that it's not just the Bear. No luxury seems to work...

I've notice problem with luxury and bonus resources, but they still have they effect.
I don't know why they are not show inside cities.
As for military units to calm down citizen, if you play with Rome, they have few wonders that makes citizen happy or reduce corruption so roman citizen are happy even without units. But all that wonders become obsolete with Decadency advance.

Well try turn Celts to your side by giving them technology because you are more advanced then they are. Maybe Mutual protection pact with Epirus or Carthage.
Try some of thet.

Nah, hate mutual protection. I always get forced into attacking the local super powers... and just now, suddenly I got 8 offers of peace in 1 turn!

or try ignore them or give what they want until you get a strong army , i did things like that and i m still alive in 30 turns

With Rome is tricky to play because you have Carthage that will bother you a lot and Celts , since you are already at War with Etruscan ,make sure you allied with yourself with Celts or Carthage , it happened once all those civs allied themselves versus me and im still holding but they have more units than me , i dont know but maybe change Neutral between Rome and Etruscan before you go at War with them
