Anno Domini: Rise and Fall edition is now available!!

This is the first version of Anno Domini: Rise and Fall; it is a complete conversion and it works. I will be continuing to develop it and look forward to some input!!

Requires: Rise and Fall, Nubia DLC, Macedonia/Persia DLC.

As it is a complete conversion, it should be played with all other mods off. This includes the Anno Domini civilizations packs that were available for Vanilla Anno Domini - the civilizations are all included, so adding the packs will cause the mod to crash.

In this version, there are the following civilizations:
Athens: Complete
Carthage: No UU/UB/UI yet
Egypt: Complete
Gauls: No UU/UB/UI yet
Germans: Complete
Illyria: No UU/UB/UI yet
India: Complete
Ithica: Complete
Macedon: Complete
Massagetae: Complete
Nubia: Complete
Persia: Complete
Punt: Complete

Qin: No UU yet, but has UI
Rome: Complete
Sparta: Complete
Sumeria: Complete
Troy: Complete

In addition, there's compatibility for the following civilizations and leaders
Akkad - with Sargon (Civitas)
Assyria - with Ashurbanipal and Tiglath-Pileser (C15)
Hadrian - extra leader for Rome (Sukritact)
Khosrow I - extra leader for Persia (Sukritact)
Philip II - extra leader for Macedon (JFD)
Ptolemy Soter - extra leader for Egypt (JFD)
Senusret III - extra leader for Egypt (Sukritact)

There are a few units I've created for Anno Domini currently not available elsewhere. Please see pictures below for details of some of these.

In addition to the above, the following non-civ mods are used by myself whilst playing Anno Domini:
Civitas resources
p0kiehl's Precinct of Amun-Ra
p0kiehl's Satrap's court
Religion expanded
Sukritact's resources
Unique district icons by JanBoruta

Change log

Updated to Anno Domini v 1.04 on April 8th 2018.
  • Resolved an issue with the "Law Steles" policy which caused an immediate crash to desktop if selected.
  • Added two UUs for the Germanic Tribes, including their Historic Moment images.
  • Added the Punt as a base-game civ, with Ati as their leader.
  • Trader unit moved to "The Wheel".
  • Corrected Florence's name on the map (it was showing "Chalcis").

Updated to Anno Domini v 1.03 on April 6th 2018
  • Re-added the shipwreck resource; being without it was a potential source of crashes.
  • Akkad (with Sargon as their leader) becomes available if the Akkad mod is active.
  • Assyria (with Tiglath-Pileser III as their leader) becomes available if the Assyria mod is active. Ashurbanipal becomes available as an additional leader if the Ashurbanipal mod is also active.
  • Senusret III becomes an additional leader of Egypt if the Senusret III mod is active.
  • Khosrow I becomes an additional leader of Persia if the Khosrow I mod is active.

Updated to Anno Domini v1.02 on April 2nd 2018.
  • Resolved a crash that happened due to the Antiquity site resource being deleted.
  • Corrected Civic icons.
  • Copper resource now available as it should be as a strategic resource.
  • Ithaca's UU is now the Pentekonter.
  • Pidi's border control added (so that Religious Units can't cross borders without an agreement).
  • Barbarians get Sailing instead of Shipbuilding.
  • New backgrounds for Hector and Teuta.
  • Religions are now all available.
  • Added the Theatrum from JFD's Nero as a generic building available with Entertainment.
  • The Forum now gains +2 loyalty, though this doesn't gain culture if loyalty is set to maximum.
  • Phalangites replace Pezhetairos, who are unique to Philip II of Macedon.
  • Adds Sukritact's Hadrian as an alternative leader for Rome if that mod is active.
  • Adds JFD's Philip II as an alternative leader for Macedon if that mod is active.
  • Adds JFD's Ptolemy Soter as an alternative leader for Egypt if that mod is active.

Wow looks like a pro mod !
Is ther a chance to add the israel civ for this mod ?
And waiting for more optional units ! Thank you !

Hi Golan v, yes there's every chance I will add Israel - just sorting out the existing civs in the mod first.

I just tried that - and not working- I am trying to load the mod game but it kicks me out to menu
***I passed that when I diactivated the moar and warfare
but when It was finally loading the game to start - it crashed back to windows..

Absolutely - it needs to be played as a solo mod as it is a total conversion game. An example would be that MOAR has units that don't fit in the Anno Domini world.

yeah no problem - I got it but when I finally tried to start a game it collapse/crashes straight to windows .. there is another problem probably..

Yes..mmm
***I checked again without no other mod and still crashing
I am using 4k resulation - hope that's not the case
other than that - I have all DLC enabled

** what is XP1?

***update: when I choose one of the other technology start point it crashes
when I don't touch it - it start the game but I cant reach out to the technology tree ( and choose any tech at all)

XP1 is the expansion pack Rise and Fall. I don't understand why it's working for me and not for you.

Thank-you! One other thought, you're not adding the civilization packs are you? Those were for the original version, but this one has all the civilizations already built-in and they're not compatible.

Golan_v, if I had a solution for the issues you've encountered, I'd have already shared it. Please could you share your logs so I can (potentially) see what's happening on your PC?
