I just noticed you've changed your profile! Nice one

OK, it seems I have half a dozen reasonable moves I can make here, so it mostly depends on strategy. I'm choosing the one that seems most natural to me but still gives strategic flexibility.

Never mind your king, your last move takes away the cover from your queenpawn! I shall be ruthless and take it.

I don't think the end is near yet! But you are giving me the opportunity to simplify, which must decrease your chances of equalising. I don't mind exchanging queens.

It's not as stupid as all that, though perhaps it means you have no plan. I still have a few useful things to do, so I shall do one of them!

I will take your attacking pawn.

If you retake the pawn with your bishop, I will retreat my knight. (If you don't retake, what I do will depend on your move.)

If that's what we both do, I believe our position looks like this. Do you agree?

Critical? No

But I'll exchange a piece that has moved three times for a piece that has moved once.

But where is home for your king now?
Well the home for my knight is not on the edge. There's a saying in British Chess: "A knight on the rim is dim", so I'll move it nearer the centre.
