I'm not so sure this IS a joke. Rik Meleet posted his resignation about a week ago in the Civ3 MTDG forum, and the next day the post was moved to an area we couldn't access. His reasons for leaving were the same as Turner's.
Turner, I'm really going to miss you! You've been terrific as a mod and I can't imagine the board without you. If the changes I've heard about are correct, I'm not a happy camper either.

Sorry, gmaharriet, but it was an april fools joke. No one has resigned. If you look in Site Feedback there's a thread about Poly and CFC merging, and that's why I 'quit'.
