Right, you'll probably all think i'm crazy but ever since watching Watership down iv been scared of rabbits and hares! It's a horrible film about rabbits crushed in holes and getting killed with blood in their eyes...UUGGGHH! :(
Please give a reason to your madness ;)

hmmm, the movie is MUCH more graphic in their deaths...

Why aren't you people voting?

I developed a fear of rabbits after watching "Mounty Python and the Holy Grail."
:rotfl:
I have that movie on DVD!
Now that I think of it, my pet rabbit looks strangley like the one at the cave...

How can you people find rabbits funny!

I can't stand rabbits... They're just so cute... And cute things are scary... I mean, they must be hiding something... I mean,... Well...

IT'S TOO MUCH!! AAAAARGH!! *breaks down into uncontrollable screaming*

Fianlly someone agrees

They aren't scary. They are annoying little creeters since they eat almost everything in the garden.

I used to have wild rabbits in my garden... first year there were two, next there were seven... eventually after 5 years I had to start trapping them to keep them away.

The good news is they taste excellent with stewed tomatoes! :)

(I also used to own 2 (tame) rabbits from my aunt... the only two she had left after a dog ate their parents and siblings)

I totally scared my friend's pet rabbit once by using an electric shaver near its cage (on myself...........not on the rabbit) It was kinda odd. It just ran into the opposite corner and st ayed there till I left the room. It now just stares at me when I come near it. ok I've done alot of things in my life, but psychologically damaging a rabbit is definately a new one for me.

As for are they scary........ na. They sting like nothing else when they bite you (with their big sharp pointy teeth) but they're pretty much ok in my book

Is Watership down a good read? I've heard good things but never read it myself? if its any good I'll try to read it after finishing "The Day of the Jackal" and this month's Playboy

True story here guys.

Once, back in the day, little newfangle was riding his bike around the neighbourhood. And then, he was confronted by a Jackrabbit who actually began to snarl at him! Could you imagine? He began to lunge at my front tire and run around me. He was going freakin insane and was making the most bizarre noises.

And the craziest thing was that whenever I dismounted from my bike, the thing would run away scared.

But either way, those little pecker bastards are the scariest things with fur. Wolverines included.

Captain Bucky O'Hare is a bit of a mean Son of a Gun as well.

The images in the book are what you make of them with your own imagination.
I read Jurassic Park before I watched it, with the result I thought the movie very tame. Particularly the death of the traitor (whatsisname?) was completely lame; no intestines. Sigh.

As for the topic, no rabbits and hares aren't scary. They're annoying and don't even taste very well, however.
