Let me think about the mechanics of the tests: if you work out a better score in one arrangement of two associations than the other arrangement of associations, you have stronger belief in believing the first arrangement fitting your world view.

If you respond better when European Americans with American, than Other minority with American, then naturally you linked European American with American.

Since I'm a Chinese, I tested the connection with Asian Americans. The result: I linked European American with US and Asian with foreign more (18-24-18 vs 9-6-2). But the test tells me that I don't have association between the connection (because of 24 neutral).

Took the test and am strongly automatic preference to europeans.

This is about right, i am certainly more preferenced towards my own race but i wouldnt call myself a rascist, i tolerate and accept other races and dont prejudice them.

I also think the test is pretty inaccurate however

I do suspect that a lot of people were upset because they didn't like their results, and wouldn't've been quite as critical if it had reassured them of what they believed

I'm sure you would be critical too if I were to link statistics that showed a lower than average IQ for black people. And quite rightly.

But its not ignorant 'hatred' or 'racism' in any way, its being against the negative things about said cultures or 'races.' If John hates a Black guy whos just like Bill Gates, thats ignorant racism (unless he just hates 'uber rich people) but clearly this isn't the case. Hatred against hispanic culture perhaps you may mean? (illegals and all) No, if one wants to o wipe it out thats hatred, if one doesn't want it in his country, (i'm not even talking about the negatives here) that's reasonable as one is inclined to value his own culture.

I don't really mean to pull a Godwin's here, but that is often how ethnic cleansing is justified - not a matter of simply hating an ethnicity, but justifiying it as a matter of purifying culture. It is how the Holocaust was justified - the removal of a potentially (or apparently true) unloyal grouip of people. So yes, it's racism - the difference is that John says it outloud instead of people who keep it to themselves.

I took this test sometime ago. It said i had a preference for African American. I don't know why, I like white girls (+eastern euro) better then black girls on a whole.

I'm very rasist, and the test says I am. Nothing new.

Phlegmak, Bill3000 and Tycoon101 - I'm obviously missing the joke here so please enlighten me on what's so special in raSism typo when compared to other typos? I wouldn't otherwise care at all but as this is the first time I see such interest pointed to one wrong letter in here it makes me curious. Even googled it but it didn't reveal anything funny.

It's a forum-based legend that a very rich teenager guy who called himself a communist insisted to use the term instead of the right spelling. He said the normal spelling is an English language hegemony and use rasism with Swedish origin.

Edit:
Here

 Thanks for the info. I guess it came to him as a surprise that English spelling usually has hegemony when communicating in English. On the other hand, maybe I should start speaking about rasismi then :crazyeye:

I prefer chocolate ice cream over vanilla but I like my coffee with cream and sweet so I wonder what does this say?
