Ask a Girl

erm I chose it after the girl in the razorlight song 'the girl with the golden touch'. A girl that everything just seems to go right for, she irish luck on her side! Someone once said it should have been about me! but i quite like the idea of turning everything to gold when i touch it!

So you do have the Midas touch!

:D

erm we share the 'is he massive?' question. which the answer is always GOD YEAH, until you break up and then it shrinks and shrinks.... but we never actually quantify. other than maybe a gesture of how small it is with a giggle after you dumped us for our bestfriend. we dont keep a record but we never forget...

Yes. In fact, that has always surprised me : I'm quite sure most girls would find boys talking together about such measurements pretty offending. I once caught two girls sharing these precious datas and asked them how they would feel the other way around. They admitted it wasn't a very wise attitude ;)
I sometimes talk about sex with boy friends, but I don't want to hear anything about their GF...

i think thats because size isnt really a girl issue, everyone can see how big your breasts are! what DO boys talk about when discussing sex then?

That's true. Being part of a Rugby team I've heard a few horrific stories about girls, lads and the no pants dance but only on rare occasions have I heard them talk about their own girlfriend. It's only the one night stands they talk about.

;) That's an ask a boy question ;)

The intensity of the discussion depends on the guy (not necessarily him beeing a very good friend or just an acquaintance).
- With my 2 best friends I wouldn't feel comfortable getting in too much details.
- With shy buddies I'm not very friends with, I would try to have a discussion as embarrassing as possible.
- Besides I have a very good friend with which I have hard core discussions, for fun only, and never about any girls we had that the other one knows of.

About the content of these discussions, I think you don't need too much imagination to get the picture ;)

The truth is that they don't want you to know how sappy and lovey-dovey they get with their girlfriend. They don't like to tell you how afterwards they like to lay there and have pillow talk for an hour. Or the cutesy names they and their girlfriends call each other.

 Very true, proof of "kissing and cuddling" would get you in serious trouble. Leaving your mobile within reach of a teammate was not advisable.

Men? Thinking or talking about sex? :mischief:

Quoted for truth !
It's pretty rare to see a men talk to his wife/GF in public the way he would in private. Women don't have this duplicity usually, that's nice of them ;).

Actually I find it disturbing when a couple act in public the way they act in private.
I also find it disturbing when friends I know completely change their attitude,, behavior, even their voices (!) when around their GF. Dude, if you have to change THAT much in order to be with her, maybe you shouldn't be with her. Go find a girl you can be yourself with.

do u get embarrassed when girls are like 'ok babe, i'm off, i love you' in front of your friends? another ask a boy question!

What do you girls talk about when you do a girls night?

men, sex. TV, news, fashion, drinking, gossip, sport, work, hobbies, trips, the future, men, sex.
in that order.

Let's put this the other way: I usually go out with girls whose behavior in public will not embarass me. If she says "ok babe, I'm off, I love you" in a mature manner, then I have no problem. If she uses a fuzzy-bunny voice and act really girly, I will be embarassed, but I will not go out with fuzzy-bunny, girly girls in the first place :)

Good point Masque. I agree private discussions in public are annoying (arguments etc...). And hell ! I know a lot of guys changing their voice ! Some even manage to talk on the phone to their GF so quietly that you barely hear them despite beeing in the same room.
In fact, you shouldn't have to be different, maybe it's because the girl dominates the couple too much in this case.

If I'm in love with the girl I wouldn't give to much attention to the guys around. If I'm not I would be embarrased for her I guess...

The most awful case of personality change that I remember was due to a big age difference between the guy (32) and the girl (24), which, comes to think of it, is freaky. He talked to her as he would to a litle girl...

 I can feel the embarrassment of such a situation from where I am.

Your place or my place ?

Surely if it's a good relationship she'll not say 'I love you' because that implies something more like marriage? I'd be embarrassed because all my male friends know that I'm not looking for anything like that and so they'd all know that a big argument and probably a break-up was coming, and I'd rather keep all that sort of business to myself.

And when discussing sex it's more 'are you a breasts or legs man' and similar things.
