2 questions...since its actually the first time I really hear from someone going from female to male (its almost always male to female)
how much does it costed? that operation must be way more difficult than the male to female
is your wife lesbian? or met you thinking you were a man?
can we hve picture ?

(just you not the genitals...)
The surgery is much more complicated from female to male as far as the pluming is concern. There are several techniques and procedures. First, there is the breast removal, and reproductive organs removal
( hysterectomy) this runs anywhere from $30,000 to $40,000. Then you have the construction of the phallus. There are two techniques. One is called the Mateidoplasty ( they use the once clitoris that increases in size from the Testosterone use around 2 inches ) They release it, create a urethral lengthening so you can urinate from it, add two scrotums with silicone implants, whala you have a a juvenile, but functioning penis. This runs around $15,000 and up. Then there is the Phalloplasty. More complex, way expensive, not so funcitonal, hanging piece of sausage. Requires a pump for erection. Cost $150,000 and up. Now you have a not so functional penis, but looks big. LOL.
For the rest of our lives we have to be on testosterone which runs around $30.00 a month. So adding it all up it can be $200,000 plus.
My wife met me as a female, but I was a very masculine female at the time so she wasnt sure what I was. We became good friends, she fell in love with me, and went through my whole ordeal. She was married to a guy for 10 years and very unhappy. I have made her happy. I guess being born in a female body and understanding females has helped me understand her. You know the saying one is from venus the other from mars. I have been in both planets, and know my way around.
As far as the sexual preference of my wife, she has always had male relationships, and a curiosity about females. So I guess technically, she can be classified as bi curios. But that went down the drain, when I became a man. We have an awesome relationship.
One thing I want to point out, sexual preferance and gender identity are not the same. For instance, my sister is a lesbian, she doesnt like men, or want to be a man for that matter. There are many transsexuals that are bisexual, heterosexual or homosexual. All depending what your sexual preferances are. Gender identity is hard wired at 8 weeks in fetal stage, this dictates how you identify or see your self as.
Pictures sure. Go to my website:

Go to Marks Transition, a page I have dedicated towards education regarding transsexualism. Go to photo gallery, you will see my whole transformation, and pictures of my wife and I.
I hope I have answered all your questions
