Ask an Asperger

Which languages do you find the greatest connection to? Which make the most intuitive sense?

I'm currently learning English, German and Swedish. Out of those I can speak English fluently (my speach is better than my writing) and I'm becoming near fluent in Swedish.

I can, like any native Finn can, understand spoken Estonian and Karelian since both languages are extremely close to Finnish. (all three are Finno-Ugric languages)

Germanic languages in general make the most sense to me. If I was to write a fantasy short story in both English and Finnish, my English version of the same story would be of much better quality. Even though I speak Finnish as my native language. Don't know why that is, it just is.

And I like asparagus.
That's because you have strange tastes Mobby, very strange :dubious:

Just to clarify, by the way, my rather flippant remark was made on the simple basis that prior to reading CFC OT I've never heard of Asperger's nor did I know anyone with the Syndrome. Yet on OT i've noticed a large number of people who have it.

I wonder what it is about either the Syndrome that attracts people with it to CFC or what it is about CFC that attracts people with AS?

Might as well ask me also i have aspergers so il participate in this thread when i can.

Have you thought about claiming that you have aspergers to ask for compensations for being fired from Holywood video? I think a good lawyer can make a case out of it, if you claim that what you did wasn't sexual harrashment but you just wanted to be friends with her but your condition kinda screw the situation.

Civilization is a rules-based entertainment and a mental challenge that can be defeated.
As well, forums allows the most anti-social/shy person human interaction. People tend to be side-lined on forums for their nastiness, not their shyness.

This is, of course, only the most generic and basic of explanations.

I know two aspergers but they're very different of each other. Other one is so called "active" asperger. He speaks alot, but because he is thinking faster than he can speak sometimes it's hard to make any sense of it at all. Half finished words, sentences and thoughts everywhere. If there's a sarcastic person around it gets ugly quick. And the asperger person doesn't even realize someone is making fun of him.

Well i dont know. I do know i did nothing wrong in my book. I dont think what i did was sexual harrasment, but im not sure what il do yet.

This describes me well. However im very mellow around people i dont know and im much shyer in public.

Who says it needs to be treated?

Do you know any other Aspergers in real life, and is there a special relationship/bond between you above other people in your life?

I am still not very sure what the main difference between Asperger's and SP (schizoid personality) is. Although being schizoid does not mean that you are autistic, since there are always many levels around. For example i have a very different approach to the external and the internal world, and never categorised them in the same, or even similar ways. Whereas i had heavily organised ways of viewing the external world, those always paled in comparisson with those used for my deeper level of thought, and therefore i could at any rate move away from my approach to the outside world and thus view it as more open to drastic change and re-organisation, and also note the subjectivity of those views as well.
Does a person with Asperger's have a set, structured with axioms way of thinking of how people interract?

How do you do with 3D rotation? Have you taken organic chemistry yet, there's a lot rotation involved in that discipline?
Unsure. My Rubik's Cube broke from overuse several years ago. (Technically, it broke from rolling down a mountainside, but it was only on that mountainside because I brought it with me everywhere.) I can think in three and four dimensions, but I don't know about rotation.

Only up to titration in chemistry.
