iam ASHAMED for speak about this topic. plz dont question about this. the homosexuals is very very bad work. iam realy ashamed for everyone that doing it. and that 50 persons that do it, they are very very OBSESSIVE in my view. they are babys that are very obsessive (12 to 14 yers old). this work isnt INDEPENDENCE this work is TRAGEDY. you love this terrible work?

He's really not making a good case in favor of Iran. If he's what's typical in the way people there think, then that country has some very serious problems.

America's problems can be summed up in two words: Democrats and Republicans. Cyrus is making it seem Iran's problems are much deeper and much more serious.

I can answer that question for you! Yes, people in Iran taarof like it's their J-O-B! It's most common at mealtimes. Everyone will be served and I'll finish my meal, someone will ask me if I'd like some more, I'll say no and then they'll continue to insist and say Amir jan, don't taarof, eventually I'll accept some more food and then I'll finish it, they'll offer another helping but by that time they take no as an acceptable answer.
Yeah but if you visit Iran anytime and someone offers you something you'll probably have to say no several times before they believe you actually mean no.

By the by, most people I talk to in Iran aren't happy with the government and they aren't ridiculously anti American/western. I'd also like to point out that my family in Iran aren't wealthy, western educated people. They all come from Shoushtar, Ahfaz, Boujnourd and a bunch of them live in Tehran. Even my great uncle who was a very popular religious figure and authority on islamic law said that when he visited Iraq the American soldiers were nice polite people even the women.

Wow, this is exactly what we Chinese do too.
It's so common that when you really mean no, people just don't believe you, they think you are just being ‘客气’.
