The only limit is how much money the company has. Branches cost a flat fee of 10 gold a piece at present.

Not that any of this matters, since until you have 51% of a business, it's a private entity. Just because it operates out of your country doesn't automatically grant you control over it.

And can nations make new/destroy corporations?

A corporation can theoretically be destroyed by burning/repossessing all its branches but it would make no sense to do so.

New corporations pop up on their own, so as to prevent everyone from spamming corporations. Scarcity creates more interesting results than abundance.

How do we expand on the ampunt of Diplomatic Summits per turn?

Increasing your stature relative to other players. It's basically cap and trade; there are 150 or so summits to go around, and they tend to pool in the hands of the most powerful. For weaker powers, that highlights a need to cooperate with other weak majors. Some empires can stand alone... some must befriend others to remain relevant.

Also I'm really baffled why South Musica doesn't like us much when we're basically their America to their South Korea.
