Thx for that information.
Unfortunately, if those settings are pure-handicaps and if there are easier versions of CIV available (in this case Vanilla and BtS) I must decline, because it just wouldn't make sense to compete against others while playing with a Handicap in CIV.
I remember that map, because I've played it numerous times already, and I remember that it is one of the most beautiful mapscripts in whole CIV. Very many resources, very nice Rivers a.s.o.
Actually my fastest Cultural Victories I played all on that mapscript.
Countering the mechanics of Vanilla, I will have to anyhow because of those 2 Space-Races I still need, I'll keep in mind to record a video about that too. Will be very interesting probably, I already heard things like +50% GA-length and not having Espionage should actually be well counterable by going for full research. I already red of some really "funny" things like Cavalries with Military Tradition and Grens with Chemistry or so, so I might think about that for the game after the Boreal map which I've currently set up.
I can remember immediately several differences. Some time ago I tested these versions and looked for differences pretty much. Despite Cavs with MT and Grens with Chemistry:
in Vanilla - Cavs (or only Cossaks) have strength 18.
in both - creative trait doesn't speed libraries (at least before 2.13)
in both - golden ages require not 1->2->3 GP but something like 1 (2?) -> 2 -> 2 -> 2 (3?). During golden ages you cannot switch civics without anarchy and you don't have 100% to speed of generation of GP. So, in general golden ages are not that strong, and on the other hand Spirital trait is much stronger. I'm not sure about the length of golden age (just forgot)
in Vanilla - financial trait gives double speed to banks
in Vanilla - trade routs gives more commerce. Something like +10-12 for in cities of size 20. So, food economy quite good
in Warlords - Great Wall cost 250 hammers and gives GE points (and there is no GW in Vanilla)
in Warlords - expansive trait doesn't boost workers in 2.08, but boost them 50% in 2.13
in both - I heard that early rushes are effective
in both - State property doesn't give 10% to production, Caste system doesn't give hammer for workshops
in both - there is no AP
Good luck with those Space Races and new records!

Why I remembered Inland Sea - it was a first map I played. And then I tried it foolishly beat at Deity in Warlords
