Grave - You deserve a break. Great mod!

DrewBledsoe - great that you're lookinf into things!

Just wanted to let you know that there's a 1.03 version of Bhruics supplementary unofficial patch and JKP1187's events is at version 1.17 now.

Hope you find the time to include both at some point.

Thanks for info, the 2nd will probably fix that Taliban bug mentioned earlier in thread...I'm sure Grave will include both in his next version....Dale is also beta testing a newer version of DCM, that looks like it will be ready for inclusion in next version of HiTM:)

is there a way to scale down the units a little ships just look way too big on the map :)

I just started my first "real" game with the HitM mod. Love it so far. A couple of questions though. What does the "arm strength" icon in the upper left hand corner of the screen stand for? It currently says "0/45". Also, what does the green integer next to a civ that I've met in the score box in the bottom right hand corner represent? I met Saladin and he had a green "1.7" to the right of his name in the score box.

Anything else I should be made aware of? Sorry for the noob type questions. Is there any reference sheet/doc for this mod?

By the way, Great MOD!!!

Thanks for your time!

Great General points. You have 0 and you need 45 for the first GG to appear. That number will increase as you fight other players.

It's his power, I think military, compared to yours. 1.7 means that you outscore him 1.7 to 1. Watch out for numbers < 1 :-)

OK, I have a problem here: I am playing a game with Elisabeth of the English. Everything is going well, expanding, building up my empire, scouting around for goody huts... well, I have a problem: when I try to load the game, it says that there are some mistakes with a few buildings and units and CivIV closes because there has been a mistake. Could someone tell me how to mend this?

I'm not sure what to advise. If you started playing the game ok and then saved, I'd assume the install was ok.

One possible idea, are you playing the game in Spanish, as if so, HiTM has been known to cause problems for users playing in other languages apart from English.

If not, then exactly what error messages did you get? More information is necessary....

Note to Grave and To Self: The Roman 2nd UU Unit (Sagittarii) doesn't seem any different from a standard Horse Archer atm, since version 1.54., before anyone else points this out......(not that Rome really need anything else ;))

I noticed the same thing.

No, I'm playing it in English. I carefully read the notice in the first post that told me that this only works in English and changed the language.

These are the XML Errors I have as soon as I start HitM:
- (Tag: SPECIALBUILDING_POWER_PLANT in Info class was incorrect
Current XML file is: xml\Buildings/Civ4BuildingInfos.xml)x4
- Tag: BUILDINGCLASS_SPECIAL_OPERATIONS in Info class was incorrect
Current XML file is: xml\Buildings/Civ4BuildingInfos.xml
- Tag: SPECIALBUILDING_POWER_PLANT in Info class was incorrect
Current XML file is: xml\Buildings/Civ4BuildingInfos.xml
- Tag: UNITCLASS_SHAOLIN_MONK in Info class was incorrect
Current XML file is: modules\hitm additional unique content\hitm additional unique units_civ4civilizationinfos.xml
- Tag: BUILDINGCLASS_SPECIAL_OPERATIONS in Info class was incorrect
Current XML file is: modules\hitm additional unique content\hitm additional unique content_civ4civilizationinfos.xml
And when I load the game, my computer just tells me that there is an error in the game and that the program has to be closed.

Right....ok, an earlier tag is somehow missing, or not where it should be. This puts everything else out of synch....e.g. The program when loading, calls up a list of tags which it expects to be presented with (from unitinfos.xml, buildinginfos.xml etc.) When it doesn't find one that its expecting, the next one it expects will often be out of line too, and it starts to send lists of "incorrect tags" as you presented.

On looking more closely at your errors, somehow its also looking in the wrong xml files for the info it requires too...

Since most people can play the mod with no problem, I can't say where this "misalignment of tags" occurs. I know its a pain, but if this problem persists, then its probably best to delete everything to do with HiTM, and then reinstall it, making sure that everything goes in [by default] :-

C:\Program Files\Firaxis Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 4\Beyond the Sword\Mods

and not in the "my games" directory.

Sorry, not really what you wanted to hear..:( , but hopefully that might work, if not then I can only perhaps surmise that it may have (and Im guessing completely here) something to do with the original install of CIV IV being in Spanish (you said that you chnaged the language)....

Hope you can get it to work...........

Has anyone else got a Virus warning from this Mod & the patch at all?
I ask as after I downloaded it, I went to transfer it to my laptop via USB stick, and AVG 7 Pro (not the free edition) triggered a Trojan Horse alert:
SHeur.ATVG

Is this real, or just a false flag please?

Indeed: starting up this morning my anti-virus program fixed a Trojan horse from the 1.5 exe.

(Which is kinda odd, as it hadn't been reported before...)

Yep - I tried downloading it and got the same thing. Guess I should've checked the posts first....

Did those getting virus alerts download from FileFront?

I can only assume (if the warning is for real, and not a false positive), that its somehow been transferred via the filefront site. There absolutely shouldn't be a virus in HiTM.

False positives are not uncommon with even the (supposed) best anti-virus and anti-spyware:- Spyware Doctor (after a routine update a few weeks back), suddenly decided that my ISP's home page was spyware , which it most definetly isn't. This lasted a few days until their next update...

I don't think there is.;) (And BTW, I just DL-ed as instructed. The virus message appeared out of nowhere: I already had HitM installed - no virus, then after a day or more virus warning! It didn't make any sense, really.)
