Whatever, I fully support any effort that seeks to shed light on a political candidate's fitness for office.

On the incumbent side I'd particularly like to know more about which of Obama's policies he'd prefer to walk back in a second term.

On the challenger side, I want to know what he thinks about the current income inequality - whether or not we're at the right level. Should it be more? If not, why? Have we gone too far? If so, how should we rectify that?

Given that it should clearly either be a requirement for all congressmen or none of them, it is quite "hypocritical", as well as obviously partisan, to claim it should only pertain to those who expect all presidential candidates to act in a similar manner to those in the past.

You are also falsely insinuating that I was "defending" him. I would have made the same comment about a Republican congressman if Obama had only released one year of tax returns, especially if it looked like he was trying to hide something. The only return that Romney released was the one he prepared after he knew he was running for the presidency.

I actually think Reid went too far claiming that Romney had paid no taxes with no apparent proof. But insisting that Romney divulge more information is hardly a reason for Reid to act any differently than any other congressman in this regard. It is basic common sense given how many returns other presidents and candidates have released, and the magnitude of Romney's wealth.

As usual, you are just parroting the all-too-typical partisan nonsense while again trying to defend the indefensible.

American law does not require you to release your tax returns to be President.

The point though is there was never any good evidence Obama wasnt born in the US yet claims were made anyways. Where are the demands for Romney's birth certificate? There is about as much evidence he isnt actually american as there is for Obama in the end.
