Boycotts!

That has to be the pettiest boycott reason I've heard for a company that has so many better reasons to be boycotted ranging from the crappy substandard food not fit for human consumption, processed meat hoses with ammonia infused slurry, unhealthy products and the crappy minimum wage labor.

But nah, automated greetings is where you drew the line.

I don't think automated greetings is a bad place to draw the line. I do think he should continue his boycott until they are pulled.

Burger King tastes better anyway.

I boycott McDonalds, any Yum! Brands restaurant, (Taco Bell, KFC and Pizza Hut) and Wal Mart.

I refuse to watch movies with Tom Cruise in them because I cannot stand him.

Apparently this is a rumor, and I am not sure whether I'll buy them even if it is, but if any game company ever actually ties their games to the first system its used on like some people were saying the PS4 and next XBOX might do, I will absolutely refuse to buy the system in question. Its annoying enough that I would be prohibited from selling the game that I own, but also being unable to play them with friends outside my home unless I bring the system with me? No, I'm not giving them the kind of money that they ask for for that.

You don't own any games, you are simply granted a license to use the games.

I try not to buy Australian rice because I think it's pretty insane that we grow rice in this country.

So I guess that kinda compensates for my grandparents who will deliberately buy Australian rice because it's Australian and "support Australian farmers because reasons!"

That would be nasty. I already quit playing xbox for a lot of reasons, but there's always room for more.

All consoles should be boycotted. You know why?

Who is in possession of it? And who voluntarily transferred possession?

That said, I don't really care. None of that takes away from the validity of my post. I didn't say that it should be illegal to program the software that way. I said I would boycott them if they did.

I've played but I don't own one. I don't have any particular plans to buy the next one. But I would absolutely refuse to do so if they did what I described above. Same with any other system.

PC and N64 are far better than any others for game-playing but I like others too.

Okay okay, totally my fault that I derailed my own thread and I apologize for that, but let's get back to boycotts. :)

You're missing out mang.

Well, I saw Last of the Samurai and Valkyrie before my little boycott. The former was okay but hurt my opinion of Tom Cruise, and the latter was decent- I found myself hoping the plot would succeed even though I knew it wouldn't.

But what am I missing out on? Argo? It would have to be pretty good for me to endure that whiny lunatic.

Please, PLEASE don't make this into yet another libertarian derail.
