According to the Mirror they were all self employed. Self employed people choose their own hours of work and have a perfect right not to go to work if they don't like the weather, what's the guy moaning about? Oh, silly me, he just wanted to avoid paying tax as well as paying a living wage.

Maybe this is what Americans should try if they want a welfare state.
If all the unemployed/underemployed started working as Telemarketers, I bet there would be loads of people like EE supporting a decent unemployment check.
