Brokeback Mountain

I am not gay, so I will not see this movie.

As much as I honestly don't have a problem with homosexuality or homosexuals:

1. It doesn't even look that good of a movie

2. It would just gross me out

Have to see the reviews. If its a good movie I'll watch it, if not no. Seeing gays kissing is no big deal. Didn't you know the best place to pick up girls is a gay bar? Thanks to my gay neighbor in college for convincing me to go!

It's not so bad. I saw Torch Song Trilogy in the theaters, and while it was a bit shocking at first I quickly got over it.

I read the book and enjoyed it. I love Ang Lee's stuff, and enjoy Annie Proulx's other stuff (except for the desperately incoherent "Accordion crimes"), so yeah, I'll go and see it, and would expect to enjoy it.

Let's face it, this thread is really here as an expression of homophobia. Surprised it didn't get locked already.

If I called for the banning of the movie because the movie has homo's, than that would be homophobia. It's the same as saying "I donn;t want to see a chick flick"

I probably won't go see it, but it has absolutely nothing to do with the gay element, it just doesn't look very good.

If it looked good, I'd go see it.

Actually, homophobia would be you refuse to go see the movie because the thought of a gay man would irrationaly terrify you.

Umm...not exactly. I have nothing against homosexuals, especially superstitious unexplained fear of them. Yet I don't like seeing men kissing each other, so I don't like to see this movie. Am I homophobic?
