The original flavor is still the best!
What are you talking about? Comments from the peanut gallery are ok, but at least put it in context. The original flavor is still the best!

That's a much better description. ;-)Wolf was just being his old self, and he got a red card. Didn't like it and left. That's all. I think any other speculations are just that - speculations.

Is wolf still upkeeping the mod at all, or has someone stepped in for him that would be interested in a possible stability issue?
Looks like I don't have a save after all, as the save I had was an autosave, and I went ahead and played another game of basic BTS afterwards, and it was saved over. I do have a save from quite a ways before the crash from that game; maybe I'll go back to that point and play through again to see if the crash reoccurs....

Sorry to be seen to be dragging up an old thread, but anyone know how far Wolfshanze is on 2.86a? I was going to start modifing his mod to suit myself with a couple of extra units and things, but if he is about to change it then there is not much point yet...

I've seen people complain about crashes in Wolfshanze, but it hardly ever crashes for me. I should point out that I have 4Gb RAM (yes running XP).
Could be. I'm not sure if Wolf cleans up the models he gets. He'd probably have to go to the author of each.Over on Wolfrev, it was noted that some of the models have over 10,000 polygons in them- which is bloat. I know one of the units mentioned was a Russian Tank. That's the source of the problem most likely.
