Hijacking! said:The sun rises on the young band of settlers. Mr. Liberi Glacialis and his council of elders sit in a clearing in the forest discussing the pros and cons of settling his people in one location, permently, for the first time since time immemorial, and wondering if this is a good idea. The other members of the American tribe wait for there to get there say in on this very, very important choice, one greater then all the others.
One man, a rough, heavy set warrior of the tribe, walks up to the gathered tribesmen and women. He bows to them all, and presents his findings. "Mr. Glacialis, members of the council, tribesmen and women, we have made our preliminary scouting of the area. We are surrounded by good Forests and Rivers to all sides, and one just to the north holds an odd plant. It is spicy to the taste, but the taste is rather enjoyable, not toxic in anyway. What are your orders, council? What are your orders, tribesmen and women?"

EDIT: And West Point isn't in New York. It's further south.
*smacks forehead* grah, I need to get out of New England more often....you meant north. It's in the state of New York, and only an hour away from NYC.
I'd say move 1W and settle there. Common thought is that a whole bunch of trees and one open space in a start means strategic resource. You are currently standing in that spot. Moving to pop the hut with the settler removes the fresh water bonus from your city as well. Pop that with the Warrior after getting a better look around. Hopefully there will be a food resource that you can nab as well. That's my $1.34.
