I have an espionage-question:

How likely is the "steal technology"-option? This could be overpowered if it was too easy to succeed...

Oh, and also one for Boudica...:groucho:

*ahem*
Sorry, couldn't help myself. Still it's probably healthy for people to see what she's really like.

Give a couple of moments and I'll post proper screenshots of the leaders you requested.

Hmmm...maybe you should trade her a cross, garlic and holy water...

My first random event, a quest (and I don't even have Animal Husb yet!)

My reward was a free promotion for all the chariots, not bad....

The Americans were Sumer's first victim (Vultures are evil, basically Swords with BW), but there was some completely loony whipping by the ai, and I mean loony, every city was whipped down to size 1. If I'd just walked back into my own territory and made peace they'd be screwed anyway...it will need later discussion I feel...anyways here's an example:-

New York was size 6, 5 turns before the screenshot.

There you go: Pedia shots of Willem van Oranje, Abraham Lincoln, Charles de Gaulle and Boudica.

Very expensive, espionage is very slow to start with. Mine is quite boosted in the screenshot, by having all the early ziggurats from being Sumer, and that fact that my very first GP was a great spy, who I used to constuct Scotland Yard at some absurfly early date.

Never mind, already asked & answered.

24 turns no specialists in Moscow for a while muhaha ;)

Wow...that's pretty brutal. Anyone stolen a technology yet? I'm curious as to how cost effective this is. For example, does it scale with the beaker cost of the tech? With proper multipliers, can a TE (thief economy) become viable?

Spaceship screen, post launch. It's good to see it's back :) Anyone remember how the ship used to be named after your leader in the old games?

can we see some Fall from Heaven screenshots? I haven't seen anyone trying that scenario yet...

Did you win the Space race?

Yes I did :) It was a close call, though - Darius was only a couple of thousand culture points away from a cultural victory.

Nice! That is pretty sweet to have to consider where ALL of your opponents are in regards to the various victory types.

Moscow 40 odd turns after its poisoning:- Ouch!

The Apostolic Palce in Action:- Weird though, I thought the vote was be a lot more regular, Ive only been able to propose 2 motions in 500 years..

... wow... reduced to a size 1 city... anyone who is saying thats not overpowered is a fool...

At least give us some way of dealing with the unhealthiness... like a hereditary rule for unhealthiness.

Quick question about the flags. I see from your pic that the sumerian flag is different from the Roman flag. The roman one is rectangular, while the sumerian one has a point to it. Is it just a different design, or do flags change shape in new eras or something?

If you compare the flags from two different times in the same game:

You can see that both the flag shape and the pole holding it up changes.

That's pretty awesome.

Yeah its really a bug. Because Im playing marathon its tripled both the unhealthiness and tripled the time. On normal it would be 8:p for 8 turns (decreasing to 7:p after 1 turn etc.)....harsh but possibly fair. This is just like a launching a nuke, but better...

EDIT2: I've reported this in the bugs forum.

No, I think it stayed the same (the last screenshot is as far as Ive got).Maybe different shaped flag/banners for different nations.

EDIT:Oops, as pointed out by Ixnay, they do change.Too busy trying to take everything else in, I didn't notice.....
