Bug reports and technical issues

My fishing boats spawned in a lake as Japan. Not a big problem, but if you don't found a city next to it, you can't use them. Revision 554. Probably has something to do with the Korean culture.

The 1st bug was present in RFC.

Not actually a bug, working as intended. Naval units have always spawned on a random tile adjacent to the land unit spawn tile, of which that lake is an option and will occur some of the time.
 
But it's a good idea to exclude lakes nevertheless.

Playing as Ethiopia. Somehow, an Indian swordsman wound up on the Arabian peninsula. Sana'a keeps on getting founded, then razed. I think it has happened 4 times now.

I hapens all the time. The same hapens at Pagan, it spawns meanwhile a barbarian elephant spawn on its north. These two cities should have a defense, so they aren't razed quickly. A spearman if we want to make their survival random. Two spearmen to make their survival sure. Two spearmen and an archer to make them destroy the attackers. Two spearmen, an archer and a war elephant to make them aggresive. (Or just programm barbarians to avoid conquering indies... ;) )
 
when playing as phoenica, I declared war to the romans first, so their armies didn't spawn (1), and I take their one archer protected cities easily (pompey and nova cartage) but after they declared war to the greeks, (while my army sieging their capital) their army spawned near to carthage (2); I attack rome when it has 40 defence (at least they are mercenaries :p) and made a peace agreement so it was really a good war.
but which one is bug? 1 or 2?

You're right, I hadn't noticed it before since I don't play much 3000 BC. Quelimane also respawned again after I had razed it, even though it spawned with a defender. I can't recall if it got a new defender when respawning.
 
It happened again. Russia collapsed due to Germany declaring war on them, but they lost the strangest of cities. They lost all their cities except for Ukraine, Finland, and Sweden. They lost Moscow and their core...

Or simply raise the free wins against barbs for independents.
 
If I take the spy which is 1W of Monterrey, Mexico and move it 2SE, the game crashes to desktop. This is on 1.11, no SVN.

I'm not sure how relevant these games are since I'm not on the SVN yet. However, since I'm currently losing a war on two fronts against independent cities, I'll probably just switch to the SVN and start a new game. :cool:

Unless that was fixed, it's more of an unbalance than anything. Those Hulugannis made me rageous today (and ruined my morning :mad:). Unless that was fixed in the latest SVN, I don't want to see those spawning two tiles away from Babylon again. Occasionally that happens before the culture pop and I got my pants down.
And nobody brings up the defend yourself with warriors since you got 4 free wins against barbs. The problem is I lost at my third free win!!!

Not surprised because I attacked the first one and I was then at 0.8 health bar. I know how the free win mechanics work, it's in fact 10 free battle rows where if you lose a battle row, you lose no HP. With 0.8 HP, I probably lost enough battle row to lose a free win. I lost my horse city then. SOOoOOoooooo frustrating. Especially when it's avoidable when the Huluganni never spawn 2 tiles away from the capital Babilû ever.

This isn't a bug. If you want to win as the Babylonians just found Babilu and surrounding cities will flip to you via cultrure. If you want to found some cities then you will need to build asharitus. It would be a good idea to complete all the UHCs except the code of laws before you start your conquests. Persia will probably be weak enough after the siege of Babylon.

Started a game as Argentina version 1.11 and it is Argentina in the picture, but the score says Kingdom of Norway.

When you spawn you'll be Argentina. That just happens when a unit (in this case Norway) is near one of your invisible units.
Something along those lines.
