Bug reports and technical issues

Which version/revision?
 
I downloaded it today, from check svn button, and it's data around 1.4 gb but 1.1 is around 0.7 gb :confused:

I think that is Windows XP made to look like that series (I've made it look like that).

Don't know what is wrong with my comp, but I downloaded 1.11 again, and try with it
3000bc-mongol-epic.
aand byzantine has mec. inf. but poor production?! in 1200 ad
and I use xp yep :p
first save from 1.11 with byzantine second is from persia game with 1.12
(it says turn 18 but just overwritten)
I want back my doc :cry:
I will try reinstall and report again :p

Okay, saves with the units already present aren't any help.

Do you still have the first autosave, so that I can let the autoplay run on my side?
 
I haven't got any saves from autoplay turns :(
but I deleted mod and reinstalled it with last svn and it's working well now;
without machineguns, 20 wonder-188pop cities; just a little bit strong byzantine but it's training heavy swordsman at least instead of mec. inf.
I'm trying it with some countries too now

I don't know if this already mentioned:

SVN rev. 541 (the one which is equal to v1.11)
1. In the 1700 AD scenario, Mecca isn't the holy city of the Islam. (I didn't check if another city is the holy city. I only saw Mecca wasn't)
2. Also in 1700 AD scenario, some cities (Stockholm, Madrid, maybe others I didn't notice) don't have any defenders.
NOTE: I was the Dutch. It's possible that the defenders were moved out during the AI turn. But still, the AI should at least keep 1 defender in their cities.
 
recently I encountered a 'super china' with Turfan having unrealistically high production , commerce and population. Apparently the manhattan project was built by 1841 and So was the Eifel Tower and Wembley around the 1870s... by China ! They had researched up to flight by the time I as Prussia only got to combustion. Earlier someone reported a super Constantinople. What's causing this problem exactly? this is in version 1.11 in the 1700 AD scenario. This is the first time in a 1700 scenario that I have seen this, earlier attempts saw China behaving normally, nothing unusual.
 
It's hard to identify the reason without observing the whole process. What does the tech graph say, did they suddenly become advanced or did it happen over time?

Did a respawn happen?
 
In my opinion the scientific method is inseparable from collaborative and quantitative processes including peer review, and therefore nothing from before the 18th century really qualifies.

hmmm may be there is a tech bug but I'm not sure, this ss from my reported game

Holy cow. Do you have an autosave from one of the years where Rome or Persia were taking off?
 
nope, game doesn't autosave in autoplay, I've got just a save from when persia conquered space, in my previous post but there is a replay of this game
but imo this caused by this angora-188 pop bug

no just in this game, others are working well
this was from first svn of 1.12, I deleted all game files and re-installed 1.11 after this :p
 
Oh, so the problem was introduced after the release of 1.11? Well, that's a relief. Because such a glaring error would require a patch.
