Bug reports and technical issues

Did you start that game before updating?

Oh, then I tested your game on the wrong revision. I just committed a fix for the savegame issue which I announced just one post before yours (breaks compatibility), so I assumed you had read that and updated.

Razing Paris certainly isn't what caused this expansion rating.

(Judging from your save, you only have one city in your core. The ratio of core vs periphery population determines your expansion rating.)

If Orang Laut replace Privateer, why Orang Laut can't "enter foreign territories without declaring war" like Privateer did? Is that intended?

I am playing a Greece game in the last 80 or so turns of the game, and whenever I ask someone for money, the game just abruptly crashes. No warnings, no messages, nothing. My game is also frequently crashing from "memory allocation failures". Does anyone know why this is happening? I deleted half of my save files and nothing changed.

The changes to SVN 589 seem to have eliminated most of the bugs I was recently experiencing. :goodjob:

Except for this one about Independents founding scripted cities (the other AI civs seem to be founding and generating the correct announcements now):

You lack memory. Make sure to close all other programmes, reduce the quality of your graphics, make the game as less demanding as possible. Alternatively start destroying every civ you can. The less civs and cities in the game, the less memory you need.

Still getting too many Open Borders agreements with Western Rome:

I've entirely disabled city announcements for independents already, it just isn't committed yet.

Do you know if a stability effect cut the OBs between you?

Do you know if a stability effect cut the OBs between you?

I doubt it, I've recently had a Golden Age and nothing but good stability effects for a while. And if that happened, I should have received an announcement of some sort, shouldn't I?

Not to be outdone with 2x Open Border agreements, I present:

And it isn't just Western Rome who gets in on the act either:

and seems like this may have been mentioned, but civs constantly cancel their open borders agreements for some reason. Including vassals

Have you/they experienced a diplomatic crisis?

I am playing an India game. It is 1340 AD right now, and I just killed off the Mughals. However, I can't build any buildings in any of my cities right now. The buildings are still in the city screen, but I can't select them and it doesn't give me any reasons why. I can still build units, though. What is happening?

Do you have Python exceptions enabled? The likeliest reason is that an error occurs before the interface is completely displayed.

Yes. When I screen over a building icon I can't select it, but it doesn't say why (unless it requires another building).
