Bug Reports and Technical Issues

What does the advanced scoreboard do?

Huh, that's the standard setting though? And I integrated the stability icons into it.

Getting this Python Exception at 1200 BC (I'm guessing it's related to the spawning of the Temple of Solomon (which didn't spawn):

Spoiler :

Fixed the ToS bug.

all the cities on this picture are on tiles labeled "Italy" however my UHV screen checks "Italy" as controlled/owned with one of them:

For that particular goal, you don't have to control the entire area. Instead, you need to fulfill one of the following conditions:

1. If the civ who has the target area as their core is still alive, you must control twice as many cities in that area as they do.

2. If the civ who has the target area as their core is dead, you must have at least one city in that area.

Since Italy isn't currently alive, ownership of Rome is sufficient to fulfill the Italy portion of the goal.

My game as Japan always crashes after this turn after several attempts. I would love to upload you the save but when I click 'upload file' on the bottom of the page on civfanatics it always says I don't have permission to do so, not sure why. I'm not banned or anything obvioulsly.

I had this problem to. The reason for me was that the save exceeded the 2 MB size limit. Try to zip it. Zip files have a limit of 10 MB.

I think it's the initial setting for the scoreboard in the settings file that is part of the SVN or download package.

Here is the save you requested from my game where I was unable to release the British (I also attached a screenshot). Also quick question, is the ice in Greenland suppose to exist when the player is the vikings?

The additional ice that is blocking the way is supposed to disappear shortly after the Viking spawn.

Looking at your situation again, how much time has passed since the English were alive the last time? There's a 10-20 turn (not sure right now) period in which respawns are impossible, deliberate or not.

Actually I'm more surprised about Argentina. Do you know a logical reason why they might have a claim?

I'm pretty sure that Essen is in Argentina's core, because Essen is the automatic city name for when Germany doesn't have a city name in the map.

Oh, duh.

Played a game as Maya, had trouble with the 3rd goal. There's ice south of Greenland which blocks expansion into Iceland (though I'm not sure it would be possible even without the ice: there's an ocean tile and you can't settle on ice to cover it with culture). What I did in the end was I shipped 2 units to Greenland and stayed there until a European ship came close to Iceland. Two ships came in the 14th century, a British and a French one. I made contact, but the UHV was not checked.

Also during this game, India discovered America in the 13th century and got conquerors against the Aztec (but not against me).
