Bug Reports and Technical Issues

It turns out that when you build the Temple of Solomon before Jerusalem does (it's possible on lower difficulties), it will still be autobuilt in Jerusalem.

The winkey + print screen doesn't work for it for some reason so I can't upload a save, sorry. But anyway yeah, it wasn't foreign culture.
Which reason? Without any further information I can't really do anything, sorry.

Good point, fixed now.

Original and previous owner can also receive liberated cities.

pretty sure that city belonged to Byzantium for the entire game (600AD) until it became independent and then mine. (I'd have to check the after-game-recap to be 100% sure, but I am at something like 95%)

I found it is taking pictures after all, but the pictures it takes is of the desktop instead of the game that's actually running. Perhaps my computer dislikes steam.

As specified before I tried both windows key+ printscreen, and just printscreen by itself.

Is it intended that certain civs that could otherwise respawn in a certain time period cannot be released? I'm in a strange situation in 1810 where it's possible for me to release the Dutch and Greeks, but not the British, Vikings or Polish.

That is strange. A save would be welcome.

almost as bad as being able to asign a Catholic-civs city to a non-Catholic-civ is being able to asign a city from a non-believer to another non-believer.

Especially since probably most of the voting parties will never even have heard of either of those civs :D

But why can I as Spain & resident in the Apo-Palace send the Inquisition to Spain?

I'd recommend disabling the tooltip concerning "Embassies" (or re-phrase it into something like "The research of Electricity allows for permanent contact between far-away civilizations" - I still think that effect should be moved to an earlier tech now that embassies are removed)

Okay there's some weird stuff going on with AP city assignments.

I will update the startup hints with the next release.

gold/silver-resources for the 2nd Spanish UHV are misscalculated:
I went from 9 to 12 by settling on a gold resource. Since I only count 6-7 gold&silver resources in my own & my vasalls territory I am pretty sure that settling on one of these 2 resources somehow counts as several acquired resources of that type (only for uhv, not for trades)

I havent even finished my TC, conquered Yax Mutal or settled California :(

Noted.

You're on a laptop again? Try to press the function key+PrintScreen, that works for me.

I tried that after you did it, but the same problem: it takes a picture of my desktop instead of the civ game I'm actually looking at.

It is possible that Steam prevents proper printscreen to protect copyrights. It is like printscreening WindowsMediaPlayer.

Never heard of anything like this.

I went back since I wanted to win without the bug, but it seems settling on the resources is not the cause. Just went from 7-9 to 16 (but since this time I will actually control 10 res I'll continue so the bug is not too urgent for me^^).

I added 2 saves in case you want to experiment with it and cant reproduce it without one.

since I don't want to make another post here 2 other observations:

------

- if you agree to stop trading with someone they won't talk to you for the rest of the game (well, at least 30+ turns)

-------

- despite running Fanaticism and joining the counter-reformation, 6 of my most important cities got Protestantism. This seems really excessive as there is only 1 Prosecution-project and I will also need to "cleanse" some of the cities I conquer from the other civs.
4 suggestions:
+ reduce the chance of Protestantism spreading under such adverse circumstances (Fana+Counter-Reformation)
OR
+ allow for 2 maybe even 3 Prosecution-projects simultaneously (the Inquisitor-unit from RFCE would be a lot better as it allows you to "nudge" other civs into prosecuting
OR
+ give Fanatism-running-civs an option to remove 1 non-state-religion upon city-conquest, this might give a malus from the enemy civ similar to razing or give some unhappy faces for a while or just decrease the city's population to balance it a bit
OR
+ (probably too difficult to implement) allow for a master-civ to order its vasall to Prosecute non-state-religions

Run theocracy, protestantism will spread to no city. Plus +2XP bonus for your conquistadores

The Advanced Scoreboard feature in BUG disables the stability display on the scoreboard:

Spoiler :

Looking at the scoreboard;

this is what it looks like without Advanced Layout:

Going into the BUG options to check Advanced Layout:

Now look at the scoreboard. No stability indicator.

A pretty minor aesthetic thing, but still.
