Bug Reports and Technical Issues

Weird. Anyway I checked Spain's stability, it was at Stable at the time of my last save, but I went back and WB'd them some bad civics and then Argentina spawned

Walls? What walls? I don't even have cities yet!

Well, you have no cities without walls, and from a mathematical point of view that means that all your cities have walls.

True. But there are still zero cities. So no walls, even from a mathematical point of view.

When switching core area, Arabia gets all of Mesopotamia including Kuwait and Jerusalem, but it doesn't include the Arabian Peninsula.

On the flip side looks like Russia is doing really good!

I'm afraid that Russia being now a clear tech and military leader constructing wonders like Eiffel Tower and Brandenburg Gate in the early 19th century will be an absolute SUPERpower in later game. Even the mighty Gaius Marius and his Roman legions may perish under Russian pressure .

In the meanwhile I just keep stealing those techs and try to keep our relations PLEASED :)

Aaaand you can never have enough Roman games

Castles, even after obsoleting with Urban Planning, still provide an experience bonus to siege units. Intended?
The tooltip still appears, but you don't actually get the additional XP points.

Not intended, and good to know only the tooltip is faulty.

This might be the least consequential bug ever, but if you defeat a unit with a holkan before founding any cities, you get a message that says the holkan acquired "5 (food) for ." (sic)

Trying to get my Babylon on with the latest git update but I noticed that Judaism spreads to both Babylon and Egypt soon after it is founded in the last three games I've tried. So... that makes wonder building a little difficult. Not to mention historicity. This isn't intended is it?

Israelis emerged from Egypt and were exiled to Babylon. So it is very historical. But of course undesirable.

Meanwhile I think there are two wrong things with this picture (Mexico 600 AD start):

Civ4ScreenShot0170.JPG

Firstly, Mexican UP seem to fail for these Workers: they cannot build Farms on the hill. Perhaps the hill has to be in city radius? Then it has to be specified in UP description in Pedia. It would be also worth mentioning there that even with UP and within city radius no Farms are possible on the hills with resources.

The second problem directly related to Mexico's 2 UHV. In 1700 start their General counter is set on 24 EXP needed for the first GG. But on 600 and 3000 starts GG Counter remembers Aztec's value and now one needs 72 points to create a general! Much much harder and unfair.

Mea culpa for reporting the Castle bug incorrectly. I saw the tooltip in the city screen and simply assumed it was bugged without first testing it. Thank you Alexius for correcting my error. :)

Well, that hill also lacks irrigation. If you had a farm on the tile that's 1E 1N you'd presumably be able to.
