Bug Reports and Technical Issues

The turn numbers on the Victory screen for the new HRE victory conditions are wrong.

Possible bugs:

I got a "+50% culture from civ-modifier"-bonus in all my cities for my whole HRE game I can not explain. A bug or have I forgotten something?

"Grenzer" is intended as a weaker (CS 8 instead of 10) and earlier grenadier?

Rathaus as a unique civic square (not courthouse anymore) helps with expansion penalty?

As you probably know, each civ has its own modifiers for balance defined in modifiers.py. This is a display of one of them. (Previously, the were hidden, which resulted in strange culture output)

Thanks. I wasn't aware that there is such a straight culture bonus for some civs. Only knew about different costs for tech, maintenance and the like. :crazyeye:

Spoiler Ship transporting ship anyone? :

Also 3000 BC Vikings still start without Galley unlike in 600 AD case...

Did you make that happen? Or did they spawn like this?

Anyone can make it happen (I did it). Longships have this ability in current version -- one ship can get loaded into another :dunno:.

Oh weird, okay.

Woohoo, that sounds like a really great UU. The exploit possibilities seem endless. That is, how recursive is this? Can you load ships that have loaded ships that have loaded units?

And can you sink a longship that loaded a carrier or a cruiser? Or would the cruiser defend, being the strongest naval unit on the tile?

Your game art indicates that you're playing on 1.15 from the installer, is that correct? This aqueduct problem should be solved on develop.

I saw one from Gdasnk to that hill in southern Sweden, and from København to the lake in Sweden on whatever develop version I was on three weeks ago.

Edit: That same Viking game that I gave you a save of.

A very, very strange thing happened just now.
I started a Babylon game, and didn't get control of anything on turn 0.
Instead a message pops that I failed the 1st goal, and on turn 26,
I get a heap of troops, Shush with broken city graphics, and loads of techs.

When I started another game, it worked fine.

Also, the popup that comes out when discovering Property still wrongly states that Despotism grants additional happiness from Palace and Monuments.

I'm using 1.15 yeah, i don't know how to use the Github version though
How to use Git:

1) Download and install Git for Windows.
2) Download and install Tortoise Git.
3) During the installation, you will be prompted for a number of settings. Most of these are only relevant to developers, since you only want to use Git for access you can simply accept the default values.
4) Right-click on your Beyond the Sword\Mods folder and choose "Git Clone".
5) In the prompt, enter the following as "URL": https://github.com/dguenms/Dawn-of-Civilization.
6) You also have to change the "Directory" entry so that it ends in ".../RFC Dawn of Civilization" instead of ".../Dawn-of-Civilization".
7) Wait for the download to complete.

NOTE: Downloads using Git requires there to not be a folder named "RFC Dawn of Civilization" in your mods folder. I suggest renaming your existing folder so that you can use it again if you ever want to.

From now on, new updates can be downloaded by right clicking on the folder, hovering over Tortoise Git, pressing pull, and confirming the prompt. These updates will only download the changes the new version makes and will take a much shorter period of time.

That's alright, you can expect the issue to be fixed with the 1.16 release that is coming soon. But if you're interested, there's a guide on how to access the github version in the Welcome to DoC thread.

Just to make sure...as the text shows it says 9 of out 6 world wonders. A bug or is there also those with obsoletes structures involved? I'm not yet on Legendary cultural which gives me 8 wonders.

I suppose it also counts obsolete wonders, that should be more clear in the tooltip, probably by listing active and obsolete wonders separately.
